@@thatesc now I think no probably not for 15 to 20 years but it will happen. All main channels are streaming plus quite a few others. There are many iptv channels on connected freeview tv's also

I know that this was 10 years ago, but the iPad test was done on two completely different iPad models

Yes because the iPad used at the time could only receive 3G so basically the 4G iPad was a Wi-Fi iPad connected to some sort of 4G router or tethered 4G phone via WIFI. Which IMO highlights the speed difference even more due to the extra lag such a system would introduce. .

I know this is a late response, but I want to explain it anyway. Digital TV transmitters have different multiplexes, and these are used to broadcast multiple channels. However, unlike in the graphic, all of the BBC's channels are on one multiplex, while some ITV and Channel 4 channels are bunched onto another, and another one will carry all of the HD channels.

Analog channel shutdown is bad, but you can bring it back analog signal. You can convert from Digital to Analog.
