For about $375 a box this product offers 4 mini boxes each with a hit (2 autos, 1 mem, 1 canvas per box on average). After today's video, I'm DEFINITELY back in love!

Congrats on the hit!!! Yes, it's the player's nameplate from the barrel, and I believe you are correct that the text on the back just means that they don't know what game it was used in. Great video

They usually buy/bought the player`s broken bats in bulk. So breaking it down to any specific game w/o a tracking process is almost impossible. Also, most players have their names on their bats just like that.

I think you're right that the Frank Thomas barrel is game-used, but they just don't know precisely which game and/or event it was used for. I believe it is a barrel.

My box was brutal.... a Matthew Liberatore Auto relic and and a Torii Hunter on card auto... easy way to flush $375 down the toilet.. Loved your box, the Carroll would have been all I needed!!! Thanks RGL for your content.

My hit was a redemption auto for a triple on card auto of Freeman, Votto, and Goldschmidt, /5 from my understanding. From what my lcs said, that was the best card pulled from the case. My first case hit!

You are correct. They don't track bat use like jersey use (or baseballs) which are specific to games. I'm sure that is game used.

It means he used it in a game , but don’t know specifically which one, it’s def not a bat barrel , they sliced where his name is on the bat ( which is the barrel but not the part of the barrel where you hit the ball ) the label and name piece always face up as that’s the weakest part of the barrel

Yeah, Topps is up front saying that it’s game-used but they don’t know what game it’s from. Game-used is game-used, good enough for me. Panini on the other hand word-smiths, virtually saying the same thing but also adding “not associated with any specific player…..”. Combine that with the fact that it’s not game-used in most cases and that means it literally could have come from something purchased at a sporting goods store. Beautiful Thomas Bat Barrell 1/1!!

Amazing hits brother! That Thomas Bat Barrel (or plate) was a really awesome card, but I was definitely partial to the Corbin Carroll RC! As always, awesome video.

Im a soccer guy and I love Museum. Like baseball it can be a huge miss on many boxes but man does it have cool chases for decent prices I think. Although its still a big risk reward differential

It looks like there's a ball contact mark next to the A in his last name. It's definitely a bat barrel, it would have had markings above it and below it, like "Big Stick" or "Hand Crafted" or the team name.

I saw Frank Thomas and Griffey and Edgar hit homers during the only game where they opened and closed the roof at Safeco field. It was the first season the stadium was open. 11 total homers that game.

ok so that is one of the sickest hits in the history of this channel. definitely not hating on it or taking anything away from it. having said that though, can we at least get bro's full name on the card??? like if i was a big hurt collector and that was a grail for me that fact that the barrel has every letter of his name but the last one would tilt the everliving shit out of me. couldn't topps have structured the card in a way to get the entire name on there? again not trying to rain on your parade bc that card is sick but sheesh.

Now…I dont think we are going to let you get away with this….lol At 9:05/9:06 min mark you said you never had chance to “Sniff”….hahahahahaha Never going to let you live that one down brother! Now you are going to have to “Sniff It” on all mems from now on! Hahahahahah Next, yeah…I think Frank came in and dropped down like 10 different bats and said they were all used in games but don’t remember which games or dates or anything (look at it like that) Finally, I think most players have name plates on the bats so they know whose bat it is in the games so although its not part of the bat at the time of manufacturing it is an added name plate later on. Still technically considered a bat barrel or bat plate or name plate and pretty dang awesome so….WooHoo and Congrats my man! Txs for sharing….very very cool! God bless and see you on break day! Everyone gets so confused about the disclaimer on the back. All it means is that they can't tell you specifically what game it was from like some Topps product do. I've seen some breakers panic and say it means the relic isn't from a specific player,, when the disclaimer says nothing about that. The Thomas card is officially called a Jumbo Lumber Bat Nameplate.
