I felt nostalgic on seeing Mr Anwar Masood.I am 63 years old and I am from Indian Punjab.Ibhadbseen his programmes on Lahore(PTV). Today's generation will not believe that his programmes were of very high standards as compared to Indian programmes. We used to discuss his shows with our School mates. 50: 50 and other programs were very entertaining and I forgot the name of actor who used to act for a character called Zaidi May God bless you Masood sahib🙏

This is probably the best interview I have ever seen. Great job. I agree Anwar Maqsood should create content for social media and contribute to educating the masses and youth in culture, humor and satire while maintaining balanced views about life. Proliferation of sensational news channels and depressing news is saddening. We need content which grows minds, teaches tolerance and teaches us to love one another as human beings. The class with which Anwar Maqsood answered interview questions shows the depth of the knowledge and insight he has continued to convey in his writings his shows and his plays.

"Chhapal say keel nikal gayi ?" Can't forget that scene. Sri Moin is irreplaceable, may God rest him in peace, and bless his progeny. Also, appreciate the makeup man and supporting workers in success of the show. Guests like Sri Javed Jafri and Madame Bushra Ansari gave memorable episodes. One episode has been taken off you tube, with Javed Jafri Saheb appreciating shower in the rest room, it was watched by me at least 100 times. Both, Sri Moin and Javed threatening Sri Anwar Maksood with "rassi" bomb in the gurgi ! Another episode with Sri Javed as a Pakistani air hostess and Sri Moin Akhtar as an Indian visitor for cricket match in the garb of a Bori woman was memorable as well as two Biharis. And yes, the tragic part is most of the satire about politics coming true a decade after. Sri Anwar Maksood is a great visionary as well as great poet. If only those in power listen to him. As a Bharatiya - I appreciate this podcast’s setting. I have enjoyed Anwarji’s brand of comedy many year and it has helped me in difficult times as well. I wish to point out that the Pakistani youth are not true to themselves and others around them. Pretence needs to be shed and genuine character needs to be built. Religious differences aside - it will help this subcontinent to become strong and resistant to external ‘divide and rule’ policies being exercised by USA and others. Cheers and have an educated year ahead.
