Eat Assam( Silchar) Bengali dishes pls Like now in monsoon bamboo shoots are available in the market Can u please make dal with bamboo shoots and jackfruit seeds (optional, if u don't like , u can leave jackfruit seeds). it's super tasty I am writing the recipe below- Cut Bamboo shoots into small and thin slices and boil dem with little salt in the water. Aftr boiling for 10 mins, strain the water and squeeze the excess water out of it. Then remove the jackfruit seeds white skin with knife and cut each seed into halves. Then boil the seeds in water with salt for 15 mins. N strain d water and remove the brown skin Boil ur dal separately..it wud b tasty more if u use moong dal. In a pan , heat mustard oil .. add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, half tomato , whole jeera n methi for phuran, red dry chili, tezpatta n saute them till onions n tomato changes there color .. add boiled jackfruit seeds .. add masala like haldi, little jeera powder as whole jeera already added, little dhania powder n salt ...mix dem all.. very nicely.. cook for 2 mins Den add bamboo shoots n mix with masala n cook for 2 more mins Den add d dal with extra water...n mix n keep it in medium flame for 5-10 mins...add dhania just before switching the gas off.. Eat it with lemon...hope u enjoy the dish Eagerly waiting to see it in ur channel ❤
