I honestly didn't find anything awkward here. It's just two people who knew each other well and didn't have to make huge actions or overly hype everything just to show the whole world that they have a good relationship. They have very different personalities and have learned to adapt with each other. If you watch Changmin closely over the years, you would know he's typically like this.

It’s their personalities, even Yunho’s with his sister, he makes conversation like this. Changmin on the other hand, is being himself, gentle and shy. This is more than friends, it’s family we are talking about. I’ve been cassie for more than a decade, they are supporting each other in their own way, and u dont have to question it (Happy 15th years anniversary TVXQ 🎈)

They have worked together since changmin was 15...his about to turn 30...so like 15 years of his life...he and yunho have been together...awkward thing I see are the cameras been there.

OK! why people say this is awkward? what's akward about it? that they don't eat with eachother outside? this is normal they'd lived together (even now in Tokyo they live together). sitiing in a small space with cameras what do they supose to do. I think we are too used to variety shows. this is not a variety they are trying to be themselves. and be together for years it is not as exciting and fresh like what we see in variety shows.

Seriously people calm down . They have a strong brotherhood ! I see nothing awkward or embarrassing. When you’re with someone whom know you so long there’s no need for gimmicky words or actions that shows other people how close you are. They are comfortable with each other without hyperactivity. My group of friends are like this - when we meet up for dinners who don’t necessarily be the loudest and funnest group . We enjoy a nice wuite dinner and quite Chit chat like what what yunho and changmin are doing. Sure may seem mundane /boring /monotone to you, but to me it’s not it’s genuine human emotions . You don’t need to be high own happinesses all the time it’s what makes us human our raw emotions.

Are there English subtitles available? Because I don't see any and yet still everyone here is talking about their awkwardness as if they understood what's being said... They are awkward at the beginning when they realize that they never eat together alone when being outside, they are always with their managers and staff members so the unusual silence made the atmosphere a bit tense, especially when they had those cameras on, but you can clearly see that when they are not concentrating on the cameras and just do their things they are comfortable with each other, and the way Changmin calls Yunho "Hyung" here really show his soft and shy personality so don't expect him to be all loud and excited.. Also I wouldn't say they are best friends, they are brothers and they both have their own different friends with whom they can be acting silly... And another reminder, they are grown men, so they are trying to be well mannered in front the cameras, tvxq is not super junior

NO matter How people see them when they are off stage and think they are awkward and Not close. Both of them don't need to stage themselves off camera. They dont need to prove they are close. Look at their performances and how they are in sync and how their chemistry never fails to give fans a great powerful performance. They can be awkward in front of cameras BUT they speak through their performances on how in tune they are with each other. Its as real as you can get with them no theatrics.

Yunho and Changmin consider themselves as family, brothers in fact. And you don't treat your family or siblings the same way you treat your friends. In my own experience, I find it so awkward to eat with any of my siblings most especially if its just the two of us. Like its so awkward to the point that I'll have the "I'd rather go and eat with my friends" kind of feeling. I'm so close to my siblings but there are things that you just can't do when your with them. This is a proof that they really consider each other as family more than friends.

You can tell that Changmin really hates having a camera on him. I'm the same way if a camera is on me i can't relax. Just remember that because this is a broadcast they have to remain formal and polite so they can't just act natural and relaxed .
