I don't understand why dont music labels officially release background score in bollywood ! Nor are these included in music albums. There are countless gems of background score in Indian movies ! Shame that there are only handful of people who are aware and appreciate background score in India.

Some of the Indian music composers have it and they don't even know it. They are capable of releasing perfect soundtracks and very few audiences appreciative of their creations. Very sad state of affairs indeed.

Overall great work to capture and put together great back score together and still some of the best music score is missing..the best one when Aamir stops at a signal and looks through the window of his car and has a flashback moment seeing himself in the past starting at him .. I wish that background score would have been added too.. this movie released in 2001 just after Lagaan was ruling all over and bhuvan was in our minds, DCH came as a breath of fresh air with with its songs , background and the movie, it still rules the heart of anyone who loves the quality standards at par excellence in indian movie... 2001 was Aamir Khans best as he have the Indian cinema the cult and landmark movies like Lagaan and DCH that still rules our heart. Shankar Ehsaan loy have their best till date... A true masterpiece at par with any hollywood background score.

Sid was the most attractive character in the entire movie. He was humble, talented, philosophical and a man of character. The background music used in scenes is simply mesmerizing. I more often than not hum this tune. There are a lot of tiny moments of Sid that are unforgettable. To mention a few : 1. When Tara comes to See his paintings and she says that she's observed a different man in him that the one she met a few days ago. And finally she explains how Sid's thoughts are introverted. 2. When Sid goes to collect his painting stuff and equipments to draw Tara's face. That probably is the strongest scene in the entire movie. The way they have captured Sid running is the most amazing feeling. He just feels so strong yet so weak and runs and runs and somehow takes his brushes and colours and finally when he comes back with his painting stuff, he finds Tara outside who unexpectedly has to leave for her site assignment. ❤❤❤
