There is, indeed, something very special in the voice of Hariharan Saab which casts a spell on the listeners instantly and get them captivated with his mellifluous voice and a style of gayiki, which is so unique to him ! Hariharan Saab has an uncanny ability to catch the imagination of the listeners, while performing, and carry them, along with the rhythm, owing to his inimitable style of gayiki ! The connoisseurs of music expect many more from this talented singer in the years to come ! Aditya Music deserves unequivocal appreciation from all music lovers for the pivotal role they have been playing in propagating soulful music over a period of time ! ---. Hariharan does not go for the easily sung compositions. He is Mushkil Pasand therefore works hard to produce a remarkable product.

Perhaps, there is nothing unusual in Hariharan Saab visiting the residence of someone , if it was really so in this case, as claimed by you. Because, the particular Individual may be one of his several such friends /acquaintances/ admirers, being a celebrity himself ! I am given to understand that Hariharan Saab had visited the grave of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab after his sad demise , along with Talat Aziz Saab, with a view to pay their tribute / respects to this legendary singer, whom both of them held in very high esteem ! In any case, have you got any plausible evidence to substantiate your claim herein above that so- called Ustad Nazar Hussain was behind the success of Hariharan Saab as an exponent of ghazal gayiki ! If yes, would you kindly take pains to produce it in this forum at your earliest convenience! " Sab Dudh Ka Dudh Pani Ka Pani Ho Jayega!". Needless to say that it's not fair to cast aspersions on someone without any plausible reason or evidence, whatsoever! Trust! you will be able to master the necessary courage to come forward and provide the same in this forum itself forthwith with a view to substantiate your aforesaid claim/accusation since the reputation of a reputed singer of the stature of Hariharan Saab is at stake! Else, it will be presumed that you are actually envious of the growing popularity of Hariharan Saab and your action is nothing but a well calculated attempt to insinuate Hariharan Saab with a view to sully his image as a prospective ghazal singer and obtain vicarious pleasure thereof so as to satisfy your own selfish ego! In the event of such an eventuality becoming a reality, your such action to debase and defile Hariharan Saab will be deemed to be unbecoming of a true connoisseur of music and as such, it will deserve to be condemned unequivocally by all genuine music lovers! Have you got the guts to take up the challenge now and break your stony silence forthwith? I saw this comment today,I totally agree with you...Mushkil pasand makes him so different...Otherwise being a South Indian he learnt Urdu with a good command,specially while singing,it's very difficult to pronunce such a nice way...Hatsoff to this maestro...

As a matter of fact, there are no two opinions over the fact that the great Mehdi Hassan Saab was the ultimate in ghazal gayiki! He had given ghazal gayiki a pedestal which is difficult to surpass! However, after the sad demise of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab, his glorious legacy can be well taken care of by ghazal singers of the likes of Hariharan Saab since he has got the right credentials for donning such a role ! A baritone voice with clarity of pronounciation, depth and wide range, coupled with a unique and soulful singing style, make Hariharan Saab a wonderful performer! The discerning music lovers look forward to Hariharan Saab for many more such gems in the days to come! Here, in this ghazal," Dilse Har Gujri Baat Gujri Hai", Hariharan Saab had proved beyond reasonable doubt as to why he is rated so highly by the pundits and connoisseurs of music alike in so far as his singing qualities are concerned !
