And let me remind you that Punjab was the last standing sovereign nation in South Asia and it was referred to as a country internationally. It was until India worked with the British to cut Punjab into pieces during the partition that Punjabis realized they were back-stabbed by India.

I am so proud (even as a Bengali) to see a Punjabi artist, one of the biggest artists of South Asia to be on the Tonight Show! NEVER thought I’d see this in my life! I’ve been watching Jimmy since I was 12 years old. Now I’m 27. Cannot believe the day has come that the tunes I play in the car would take on American late night television.

66 year old white guy here...have been listening to Punjabi music/bhangra/dohl etc. since about 1992. He's good, but if you like this music then also check out Apache Indian, Raga Kaka Winston, Bally Sagoo, Daler Mendhi, and some English brothers named RDB (Rhythm/Dohl/Bass)

I have nobody to share my excitement about this with.... this is HUGE, and I love everything about it!!! My son got me into this style of Music in 2017 when he was only a couple days old, and I stumbled onto it messing around on KZfaq, and he started bouncing around.. he loves Diljit Dosanjh and so many others that we discovered after jumping down the rabbit hole.. having him on on Late Night American Television is MASSIVE!!! but alas.. my friends are all caveman metalheads...
