What i learned while pugging as a Tank, stick to your Route no matter where they run, but if you see them run in the wrong direction simple type "Back" or something in the chat.

The fact that the majority of pugs are so toxic just makes that one-in-a-million positive-vibes group so much better! It’s like the most fun you can have lol, and honestly I feel I tank my best because I’m not stressing over dumb comments. Everyone can be so supportive and that’s perfect for becoming a better player. Your pugs are very lucky to get you 💙🤓

Great videos! Love the commentary. Fun tip for HoV if you didn't know already is after you kill the 2 big guys before the big golden ramp you can grab a beer mug and throw it at one of the mini bosses in the final room to make them fight each other for a little bit for some free damage. It also lets you pull the 1st 2 at the same time for a little bit of saved time.

Love the series. I also pugged my way to 2400 as a Blood DK. When in doubt on thundering, AMS will prevent you from getting stunned when it goes off! And Icebound fortitude breaks you out of the stun / reduces the damage coming in from the stun. Don't forget to use your 2 "get out of jail free" cards!

It is interesting because where I sit, I always view the tank as a programmed robot lol I tend to forget they are a person just like me that faces different challenges. Misstakes is the best way of learning. You will stop giving a crap about nosey dps after a while too, you are the tank, they are foces to follow your will or GTFO. The more runs you do, you will get more comfortable, trust me :)

Am loving watching this, would recommend you getting a Weak aura or addon that tracks peoples interrupts, In higher keys, this will defiently help you out as a tank as your main job will be group coordination! You can be in discord with your group and call out kicks while tanking, as its the least demanding, in terms of in game activity. Great luck with your future ventrues and excited to see it next!

Great video :) Just some simple tips for playing blood: try to start your first pull with DRW (dancing rune weapon) - you will not only get 5 stacks of boneshield, but also massive amounts of evade - most melee attacks won't hit you in that time. Next thing - especially in higher keys u want to have a lot of runic power for that big juicy healing - in the video it seemed that u pressed death strike too often with low runic power and no heal needed and in the next few seconds u needed big healing but you was left with too little runic power. Try to stall on some, u also can overcap runic power and just heart strike when u don't need the healing. Otherwise as you already said, u sit on defensives very long, as blood we have a lot of them, just use them on big packs, we have so many, u can use them nearly every pack. But otherwise stay strong, u got this! Blood is one of the tanks that makes the most fun in my opinion :)

So last night I was helping my friend level up their DH and we pugged a healer from Sister of Elune. We RP'd a Halls and it was the chilliest, most enjoyable experience I ever had in a mythic dungeon.

I only pug keys, i'm a loner, with HoV, i pull everything you would in a 'standard' run but when you get to Fenyar room, i pull 2 of the bulls on the way to her. This will give you 84% when you run up the bridge, and then spot on 100% after the 4 'mini bosses'. I find this the best route for pugs because they are forced kill the mobs and can't afk run away after the boss is dead. Hope this helps someone

Death and decay cast on self is amazing. Usually dks don't pre cast it on pack while running. So it saves you valuable time by just key binding and not having to mouse over it.

I am a new player, started on Dec and have grinded my ass up to 2280 rating, I did get some help., but not too much tbh, mostly it has been upgrading keys every week like 3 levels per week till i got to 16. My damage isnt the best, still working on my rotation (devoker), and i just got a guy at the start of the week asking how much i paid for my KSM, or are guild mates just carrying me. I laughed it off, but kinda sucked that all the grind ive done of around 70 completed runs, people act that way, even when the dude wasnt even that impressive on dps either. Anyways, love your content, keep it up man! Stories are pretty entertaining!

The biggest thing I would say for running out during Odin is everyone runs the direction of the add spawn since it needs to be kicked and killed

Fun fact about Halls of Valor, during the last boss in Legion if you died, you got teleported to one of those balconies higher up, and you didn't have to run back, you never technically died, not sure why that's not implemented this time around.

7:53 think the biggest takeaway from this is never turn your back on the majority of adds, I meen chances are you were going down anyway but you had a bigger chance of not going down if you didn't turn your back on so many of them by running through them.

in halls on your way to hyrjah pull both sides of the hall way, then left hand side while heading towards fenrir portal. then one yak with the 4 pack before fenrir. and 3 dog packs and that will get you to 84.07% halls is my groups first time key when hitting a key wall because our route is just so stream lined. granted we don't look up guides so there is probably a more optimal route.

Halls of Valor: Go left, kill the Mobs there on the Table, Kill all mobs on Hyrja, go to fenrir, kill all Mobs on tables (right) - Walk right - Kill Dragon, 2 Yaks, all the wolfs in Fenrirs area (Use Deff-CDS, even after the nerves this things hit like freaking trucks // Stun whatever) - Kill Fenrir - Go Odyn. Kill all Mobs also in the Middle of the hall - BAMM - % done!

Just to let you know.... this is the life of a tank lol. The best way to do things is look up PUG runs for count. BTW you can tag mobs at a table and run up to the kings, AOE trash and first king down. Do not ask why I know!!!! LOVE THE VIDEOS!!! Hope that you remember the life of a tank after all the fun you have in pugs lol.

Just one Thing to Mention about the %. If you first finish the bosses, and you do a group afterwards, u only have to kill the mobs until your % are Full. So in your case u had only to deal with one of the groups mob instea of the whole pack, what saves some time. Keep it up :)

I would inform group before the wolf boss that we going right for bears after fight. Communication is the key. ;)

hello mate... as a new main tank as well i can tell u that in pugs for the most of the time ppl are just go go go all the time.. something i like to do in halls is make sure i have lead and just put marks when i want ppl to move to or stack and stuff.. and dont do the route when ppl have to use there brain in order to do.. most pugs (in lower keys for the most part) ppl dont know about the higher key tactics .. so better to do just the normal way and not try to do to hard stuff.. anyway.. just found your ch today.. i like the way to do the vids.. cant wait for more

My biggest struggle instance is for sure nokhud, I don't consider myself an elitist player, but I'm not casual either. So running Nokhud at +3 through +10 is always painful, as they're usually full of very casual players, I try to not get frustrated due to some things, but I am for sure of the mindset: if you do not intend to learn your class, don't join M+ just to be carried. Pugging is a pain for me as I always struggle to just bite my tongue, and when people just don't interrupt, or stand in puddles, I don't need genetics to make me go bald, hand fulls of hair do it for me 😂

as a healer just know that room wit hthe long tables where you died is the absolute hardest place to heal imo, its insane, just really keep them in range and go sloooow is my advice in there

I got my score up to 1850 pugging and hit a wall. I’m just tired of having toxic/inexperienced people in my groups. I tank as well which comes the easiest to me. I was tanking 23’s in legion but I had a group I ran with. I would this xpac but I’m inconsistent with being online because of irl obligations. Mainly raising my 7 yo son which outweighs WoW by miles. This is precisely why I no longer raid as well. I just cannot be bothered to spend hours progressing. I’ll end my little rant here. HoV is my absolute favorite Mythic plus of all time. Back in Legion it was the dungeon I was quarenteed to be accepted for as tank. I didn't know about add ons or anything to help plan routes. So I made the route as I went. Even learning the extra I needed for teeming affix(which added extra mobs to the dungeon, but lowered the amount they counted for) Also. If you need percent. Just grab those drunken mobs by the door on the left there. They will follow you up the bridge. And fight them with those minibusses.

That cache from TW weekly can drop anything that is on the loottable for normal Vault of the Incarnates and if I'm not mistaken 405 is the actual highest and those are the extra rare items that drop from the last two bosses.

This led me to quiting so quickly. I had bad luck 3 weekends in a row with a mixture of ppl not knowing how to run the dungeon, players leaving, or being stuck for 45m-1hr in 1 dungeon. This literally was all day for 3 weekends. I'm a healer and patient with others, but it's been so tense in DF that after getting KSM, I quit.

Anytime a thundering goes off, you can use Ice Bound Fortitude and clear the stun off of yourself.

The only way it would go up to 405 is if you get either of the rings, as they are higher iLvl than the rest of the items in the raid. Other than that, you can get an item from one of the 3 tiers of iLvl, since the gear scales. TL:DR; you won't get 405/408 unless it's rings, you only get normal items from the timewalking event.

As someone who pugged my way to ksm this season, you will see these kinds of runs 100s of times more xD, and no the hunter was wrong to criticize you, it was timed!

At 6:15 you were activly directing the frontals into your party, that's a big no. If possible, they should go somewhere to the side where no one is standing, and no one should use stuns. They cast the frontal for multiple seconds and deal no damage while channeling it, thats where everyone can chill a bit. If you stun them they attack again.

at the start pf the video the cache you get from the 5 timewalks holds a normal raid item that can go up to 398. when you get the quest to complete 4 mythic dungeons you get a cache that holds a heroic raid item that can go up to 411.

Wait till you get to 15, 16 keys. Toxicity is exponential there. God speed.

Blood dk tip. If a pug stuns you with not clearing mark frost bound fortitude will break you out of the stun/prevent it for you

As a healer only player, pugs have always been toxic. Im now one of those players who checks gear and acheivements because im really not out here to waste my free time babysitting people. I have a favoritism towards tanks and healers because not everyone can be them, but anyone with hands can be a dps.

What do you use for VODS? In order to go back and look at your own runs? Any recommendations?

To get good you have to make every possible mistake. If there are 99 possible mistakes, you can't be good until you make all 99. If there are 999 possible mistakes, you need to make all 999. So, each time you make a new mistake you should celebrate! One step closer! However, if you make the same mistake over and over that's a whole different issue.

Its a piece of normal loot gear, so if you have a look at the ilvl that drops from normal raid thats what you will get, this week is herioc same thing applies.

So a good thing to help you with the items in COS is get the WA called Court of Stars Helper. What it does is when you hover over an item in the dungeon it will say in party chat who and what classes can interact with them

I would maybe recomend to switch off of "Blood Tap" did not see you use it in this video. Maybe I'm just blind.. If you get 2Set Bonus you wont need it anyways because you get free runes from it. For Fortified weeks I like to take "Rune Tap" for that extra 4 sec Devensive when running in to a group.

Another thing you missed about your death in Nokhud is that you got mortal striked and turned your back to 3 mobs while trying to hit one to your right. Even without mortal strike that's going to kill you pretty much instantly.

I love your content, could you please add the item level you were at when you did the M+. It helps people have some idea of what they should be able to accomplish at that level of gear. Obviously, skill is a major part, but please give a general guide for what gearing levels are appropriate for different M+. Thank you.

Did +23 pug sbg today and we had dps that was moaning about orbs that it lowers his dps because he have to cotribute to help destroying them as boomkin. He got inhaled by 3rd boss, didn't stand at melee so the pool went to middle of platform so we had to run there at inhale. And bonus in the cake he died at last boss to aoe attack and cried it was garbage run. I mean we talking guy with 3k rio and the attitude is so toxic. Running also pugs only.. Everyone fails and that's fine but what is not fine is the toxic mentality of some people.

"Can I show you a route?" After ignoring the tank's route? "Messed up the key!" Key was timed, wasn't it?

For me its crazy that you was accepted on a +10/+12 key as 380 in my exp people always want overgeared ppl to the key lvl which makes no sense in my opinion, the whole point of the dg is to gear up

this is the biggest reason i dont do group content, it's stressful, it can be a HUGE time waster if the run is a wash, and most of all it's toxic, to the point that it gets even more toxic the further that you go. also i'm gonna have to say that you're doing ez mode being the tank, if you tried to do this as a DPS, you'd be in for even more struggle, meanwhile tanks and heals are rarer, so they will happily take whoever they can get as long as they have a tank or heal, then if they fail it will be squarely blamed on the "noob" of the group. i basically tried to do this back in Shadowlands, i spent like an hour getting a group together, did a single run, then everybody left, when i wanted to grind the key mind you, even stated that on the group, yet still left. it dawned on me rather quickly that going to KSM from Zero is a slog from hell, and that the toxicity of players are the biggest reason for that issue, so i was like "fuck this, i'm going back to doing daily WQs" and thus i never looked back. good on everyone who can deal with this, but i CANT and WONT deal with it, it's NOT worth the stress, it's NOT worth wasting my time with and it's DEFINITELY NOT worth the lack of loot. idk how y'all do it, but i imagine this is the kind of thing that promotes burnout in WoW as a whole, it's not good.

Hearing you say that the Catalyst isn't shared, The Catalyst is Shared. You can even do the world boss on 5 characters every week to complete the quest. Something I found on my alt is that the charges are bugged and will only show 1 Charge even though you have 3. (this week that is) So if you wanted to you can easly Catalyst 10 characters a week provided you had the items.

Pugs this week has been horrible. As a dps player, I miss being the problem. This week had multiple runs where tank overpulls or chainpulls too fast, bursting+explosive destroyed hp bars, and the healer flips out. Too many tanks and healers just leaving keys this week
