They are, I also loved that they declared their love for each other and became BF's in the Folly. Mainly cause that's where things fell apart(when Dillion told Lucas he loved him and he freaked out) so it symbolizes them leaving the past behind and starting anew. I am also a sucker for a secret love affair. I hope HO doesnt ruin them

@@diegojimenezaguado5421 but I can already see the change in lucas behavior, he used to lash out on JJ or anyone who pissed him off even a bit and he didn't this time, even his face showed he was just uncomfortable and not furious. Another thing is he shows to dillon he is willing to change, its been weeks since lucas argued with James or Leah, its a record lol. He speaks calmly now and don't put the blame on others instead of himself for his behavior anymore.

I understand Misbah concerns and as Dillon’s guardian, I feel she’s doing the right thing. But what’s more confusing to me is that nobody has put Lucas in any counseling/ therapy. He’s been through so much and Ste and James can’t expect him to just figure it out on his own.

Firstly Lucas is NOT his father just because they both happen to be gay. Secondly with Misbah's own personal experience it could be clouding her own judgement because her son Imran did it to her but that was repeatedly and over a matter of time. Lucas lost his temper once and sadly and horribly Dillion had to face the consequences of Lucas's torment and trauma. Obviously she should be concern for Dillion's welfare but she should have monitor the situation with the relationship first before wanting them to shut it down straight away.

@badboy-kr6dq I have always said the main characters are lacking a certain passion or natural connection. They have separated them to much from who boys are and the chemistry to me is lacking. These two were sweet way before the sex and I was drawn in. The other two just annoy me.

ok but tbh this thing of mishba to make lucas seems like the Villain of the history and as a violent person, when she knows what is the reason why happened what happened. c'mon... be fr, i understand she is worried, but lucas is showing to everyone that he is trying to be himself and to be a better person, he trying to clear his past and what happened. he is doing everything to shows to everyone that he really loves dillon and could never hurt him. i don't like that mishba is making be him a villain or a bad and abuser person, it's seems that she just remember what he have done but NOT why he did it.

I know I'm not in the target audience for this story (too old) but why do a lot of the scenes seem really cringeworthy. Especially the music and dialogue. Well I guess I answered my own question. Still love them though, Oscar and Nate are doing great.

Well, teens are cringe. Granted it's been a good while since I was one (I'm 31 so yeah, not in the target audience either) but as far as I remember, bar the background music, this is exactly how loved up teens would speak and behave. The things I said and did at 15-17 would make these two crumble from second hand embarresment... and I am currently cringing myself in to a hernia remembering it all.😬 😂

Jesus Misbah is acting as if Lucas is a full on abuser. It was one time and he was messed up from the conversion therapy. Not to mention she is the one that sicced Carter on Lucas in the first place. Where was all this vigor when Imran was abusing her. Although, I do think that Lucas needs time and he does seem like he did a 180 really quickly.

The kid isn’t abusive. He was just extremely mixed up and was being manipulated by a psychopath. It’s not the same thing as a grownup taking out their anger and frustration on a person physically or emotionally

I am glad Hollyoaks stopped romanticizing abuse. Lucas is a deeply troubled young man and Dillion should run not walk away from him. As cute as they are a relationship can't be borne from violence and abuse.

Misbah may have her own issues at the moment but she’s 💯 % right. Lucas had these issues way before James or Carter… He hit Dillon at least twice before this bs with Carter. He says he won’t hurt him again but honestly unless he starts healing, he can’t guarantee that. He might get triggered by something he wasn’t expecting to get triggered by. Honestly him and Abe aren’t that different in terms of trauma and lack of anger management. We want Abe to go away from Cleo. Why accept it from Lucas? Because he’s a teen? Gay? Either way something happened to Abe when he was younger and having to look after Arlo because his mom wasn’t sober and whatever else. Lucas could become Abe as an adult. I’m glad they’re finally discussing this instead of glossing over it.

This is Oscar's first acting role so he's probably still getting used to everything. It doesn't make him a bad kisser. Lucas and Dillon are literally teens, they're not meant to have perfect kisses. I don't think them having "bad" kisses has anything to do with whether Oscar is straight or not. Let's not assume someone's sexuality.
