This was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and didn't speak any Chinese at that time], and he was the least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode]. This was the first time the China audience and other performers in the back room on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely.

Adorable 😁😁😁 The best thing about Dimash is he has mastered so many different techniques with his wide range (6 octaves!) that he can literally almost do anything with it. After every episode you think its impossible to top the last one but he does every single time! Next is “show must go on” you get to see his rock side!

Hi Sofie, lovely voice of Dimash. Dimash is from Kazachstan now he is 24 years old his bday last May 24. His parents are also a singer that's why he is so good, but I think Dimash is a gifted child he has his own style of performing. Sofie for all you know after that competition in China he has already 4 concert first in his Homeland kazach you should watch it look for Dimash concert in Bastau. The 2nd concert in changsa, China, 3rd concert in Fuzhou, China, that 4th last this last May 19 in Shenzhen, China hopefully someday in Western part.
