Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than twelve(12) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Thanks for your reaction here, MLR. I've been on the Dimash train for 5 years or so now. It's always great to see new folks discovering this amazing singer. I get that you don't want to compare Dimash *against* Lara Fabian. Please, though, do feel free to compare them *with* each other. Dimash is a huge Lara Fabian fan, and to see where he simultaneously remained true to her song *and* made it his own is, to my thinking, an epic event in its own right. There's another reason to compare them, too. Dimash sings in a dozen or so languages, but he's by no means fluent in them all. Many professional singers, especially in opera, sing in languages they don't fluently speak, and believe me, they spend a *lot* of time and money in training for it. I'm not a singer, but speaking as a linguist and English tutor who has studied 30 or 40 languages in varying degrees, I can attest to some of the difficulties in producing all the sounds of a foreign language : (1) native language acquisition involves a process of gaining a greatly *enhanced* sensitivity to the sounds of that language, and also a companion process of gaining a greatly *degraded* sensitivity to sounds alien to that language; (2) regardless of language, native speakers don't speak identically to each other and by no means enunciate every word and phrase with perfect clarity; (3) even determining where one word ends and the next word begins can be virtually impossible in some situations; and (4) languages vary greatly in the number and selection of vowels and consonants they use, to the extent that some sounds central to one language are totally absent from another. The upshot of all this linguistic verbiage is that, if you listen specifically to some of the imperfect parts of Dimash's English in "Adagio" and compare them directly with (not against) Lara Fabian's English in "Adagio", you can -- well, my trained ear can -- easily perceive not just where, but also how, the ball got dropped. This is not a negative criticism of Dimash (or of Lara, for that matter); rather, it's just how languages work, and why, even within a given language, native speakers often think other native speakers "have an accent". Take, for instance, where Lara sang "before I run out *of* faith" and Dimash turned it into "before I run out *to* faith". This is not a horrible mistake; rather, it's just foreign language being what it is. (Another linguistic thing : Acquisition of prepositions can be the very devil; where Dimash failed to distinguish in English between "of" and "to", I to this day struggle mightily distinguishing in Spanish between "para" and "por". Native speakers don't have those struggles in their own tongues. Foreigners do.) To be sure, Dimash's English has improved greatly since this performance was recorded, but it still can't be taken as fluent native speech, nor will it ever inherently need to. Like every other Dimash Dear, I revel in his extreme vocal mastery and hunger for more. That's why I'm here now, 5 years in and counting. Dimash isn't even done getting better yet. I can only guess what new marvel he might produce next. Again, thanks for your reaction here, MLR. I hope my commentary above wasn't too much. Cheers.

I love this performance, and cry almost every time I view it. He knew he had to pour every ounce of energy into this performance in order to bring up his ratings in the competition. He was exhausted, and collapsed on the sofa in the competitors’ viewing room afterward. He got a 1st place for this round. Lara’s version is quite different, and her rich buttery voice is phenomenal. I’m very happy to be seeing her and Dimash in concert in Budapest in May just a few days apart. First time seeing either one live. I’m 74 and a fan of Dimash’s since 2017. I learned of Lara from Dimash. 🎵🎼🎶❤️

And yes, I am a "dear" ... that is what Dimash's fans are called. You've probably had people tell you this story, but it is because Dimash said one time that his fans are his dears...they are family. Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonata, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and gave his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music compositions, mostly operatic, and different lyrics (the band Renaissance, Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in italian then co-wrote the english lyrics for it and is the original performer of these 2 versions. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mNefhpB8tLK6j2g.html Her italian version is also amazing. A famous italian version: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p8xnq8Z-s5O4iX0.html Or you can check her recent excellent renditions: - in Paris early october 2022 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eNucmtt6kp7emmg.html - In Tbilissi Georgia in april 2023 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iLOEY5eQ0r6YlHk.htmlsi=jzIpgs_LdgX1ZjSV

I love the intensity and conviction in every Dimash performance.😂❤ Dimash could speak no english at this point except a few words and sentences. Dimash told us that he used to listen to Lara to help him settle off to sleep as a preteen. I suspect he had Lara Fabian's "To Lara With Love" album and used it to memorize this song phonetically.😏 Adagio means "slowly". I am also a big Lara Fabian fan , like many Dears. I think you will love her original as well. Equally good but you are correct as they are Apples and Oranges except at soul level. Both are Angels of music and being.🤩 This is one of Dimash's most intense performances because he scored poorly with "Uptown Funk" the week previously. He is wearing a suit of Aqua and Gold embroidery which are the colors of Kazakhstan, for luck. There was a lot of pressure on Dimash to do well at this contest because this was the "gateway to international exposure". He was only 22 years old here. Another great reaction👍 Thank you🔥 🥰🥰Much love from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦
