I think just talent and gifted is not enough, he started training from the age of 5 daily for 20 years to be what he is today and he is still training himself every day to improve himself. All the stars that had to align for us to have Dimash: 0. Perfect pitch. He has it! Look it up if you never heard of it. It's pretty common out east but not as common in the west. 1. Dimash has really long vocal folds. He has confirmed it in an interview somewhere. It's like the equivalent of winning the lottery. 2. Training 4 to 6 hours a day. He confirmed this too before. He was trained classically since the age of 5. He learned no "bad signing habits". The craziest thing is he stuck with it. I remember in his famous interview he was asked why he stuck with singing and... his answer is incredible. Over the last few years you can really see the growth of his singing capability. I truly believe he doesnt have a limit. 2b. Training with musical instruments. He plays 9 instruments... (Dombra, piano, drums, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, marimba, bayan, cello). 2b. Sports training. Dimash had a very active lifestyle and swam quite a bit. He must have a pretty high V02 max... and learned many breathing techniques from other sports. His ethnicity and body composition (no body fat.. strong jawline) probably contribute to the high VO2 max... because it's indicatuve of volume of oxygen per kg of bodyweight.... not many people realize that. That just explains why he can hold notes so long. 3. His parents are gifted musically and are renown singers. That must have really helped his musical sense. 4. Money. If his parents didn't have the money from their music success... dimash probably wouldn't have had the best training. 5. IQ. I actually can't even believe I forgot to mention he really is a smart guy... he must have a really high IQ. I'm not sure if there is any information on this but he does have his degree in music composition and I think is still furthering his music education. He arranges almost all the songs he performs. Also what other person can learn to sing in a new language in a week? All those performances on the singer... English in a week. (Show must go on). Mandarin in a week (autumn strong / late autumn). Just another star that aligned... its it's unbelievable if you really think about it. ... and that's why no one like him has come before him... There will be someone as good as him eventually.. but I seriously doubt it'll be in the next 10 to 20 years.

Yea the D8 is kinda impossible technically. It's not even on the piano if I'm correct. You can see in the video that dimash couldn't make that sound come out of his mouth the first time around but he did it finally, went from a C#8 to D8. His vocals aren't just extreme for a male voice, it's extreme even for a female voice. #respect

I agree it is a gift honed beyond anything we thought possible through consistent training and work. He sets new standards in whatever he does, be it concerts, duets, covers or original songs.

They say that Dimash shaking his hand while singing handling the microphone so that the people know that it was live not lip sync. Dimash at this moment don't want his performance to be lip sync bec.he said how can I practice my vocal cord if I'm going to sing a lip sync. That was commented by one of the vocal coach, that is a competition he can't afford to fall. Someone said during the reaction that he did it on purpose.
