Dimash is not Michael Jackson, he's just Dimash. But this performance was certainly a respectable tribute to one of his heroes and it is always fun to watch and to watch others react to. Dimash fans from every part of the world have been banding together to make Dimash the #1 most requested artist on MTV's youtube channel Friday Livestream for 9 of the past 10 weeks. That program resumes on Friday, June 4 (5-8 pm New York time, calculate your time zone differences) and we need to show up in large numbers in order to protect Dimash's position at the top. Simply type REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat during the three hour program. The artist who gets the most requests gets two music videos played while others get just one or none. Dimash says he has dreamed of being as well regarded in the western world as he is in the East. This is an opportunity for us to help him realize that dream and allows us to give back to him for all he has given to us.

MJ is one of his biggest idols! You guys gotta check out "give me your love", it's a song he made as tribute to MJ, where he sings and dances in the performance (boy got some good moves, as you could see in that video lol) and his newest music video called "be with me", you guys are going to freak out with that one! haha

Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺✌️😁🇦🇺. Dimash is an absolute BEAST once he hits you with that “are you ready for this?” look & cuts loose on stage 🔥🔥🔥. He also unleashes “the MJ moves” in a recent video called “Kieli Meken (Holy Land)”, but not to the extent as he did in this video. He is so good that he could turn singing nursery rhymes into a sublime art form ✊️😜🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Your reactions fun to watch! This was in the middle of 3h solo concert. This is performance is cute but Dimash has better MJ Tributes: 1. Give me your love from Moscow concert 2019 - Original song composed by Dimash as a tribute to MJ. 2. Be with me - Also an original song composed by Dimash and has MJ feel to it. This one is amazing and the MV is really cool!!!

Thanks for sharing that bit of information about it not being cool to listen to MJ at one time. I am older and MJ was with the Jackson Five when I was a kid so never really followed him past his Thriller days when I was in college. I just always thought he was in along with all the other greats. I can see why Dimash loves him though. He was a breakthrough artist. Dimash is a breaking down preconceptions vocally as well. He’s showing the world that the voice is capable of so much more than we ever dreamed of.
