I'm not sure if popular is a good word for it. I guess it's how you define popular. From my point of view something that is more popular means that if all options are known some are preferred over others. In this instance there are very popular entertainers that are known by many and some very good ones with a smaller public awareness. Dimash happens to be ones of them that most people still never heard. There are a lot of other vocalists in the same situation, in the Philippines for example have world class talent that's relatively unknown outside those regions.
