I have heard many singers in my life (72 y/o) and from the first time I heard Dimash sing, I like 99% of the ones who have heard him, was blown away. I realized immediately that this young man has an incredible talent. After watching many of his performances I came to the conclusion that when he gets on the stage he is either possessed by an angel or he in fact is a materialized angel at that moment. He like goes into a trance in many of his performances and captivates your soul and takes you on a delightful journey from witch you don't want to come out of. That's why most people say he is not human. And I'm one of them.

The depth and emotion of Dimash’s singing transcends language barriers. You shouldn’t torture yourself too long before watching Ogni Pietra.

His voice is what happens when you have the 'perfect storm' vocally. He was blessed with an amazing talent, but started singing around age 3, and seriously training around age 5, so that's over 20 years of intensive training with a major focus in opera, and also some other styles as well, before he ever hit the age of 25. All of that training with amazing vocal cords that allow him to sing both low and high which is extremely uncommon. So, amazing biology, amazing training, a true love for the training and for music, and a humble and sensitive personality. Truly a one of a kind talent.

I love listening to Dimash sing in Russian. Russian is a wonderful melodic language in which some of the most beautiful verses ever were written. Much is lost in translation into English and other languages. Unfortunately, I don’t know him well enough to understand every word, but I understand the essence and soul of the lyrics, and I’ve listened to these songs so many times, that I can sing along with Dimash. Kazakh and Chinese, unfortunately I can not follow, but French and Italian yes.
