Vocal coaches like to say he left opera to sing pop era and other genres. Obviously he did not leave opera. He has over 6 octaves and can sing what he wants. I’ve seen him do many solo and duets in opera style. You can’t limit Dimash. He has never let anyone corner him in any genre. Also, within one song he might do five styles. Maybe it’s pop era or maybe Dimash just created a genre. His parents are professional opera singers. They obviously did not make him do only opera. His voiced was never ruined for opera from doing different styles. If we just stand back vocal people and anybody else Dimash will surprise us every time. The best singer in the world will amaze us. No American producer has gotten ahold of him thank God. You can’t find him on iTunes to download. You have to go to KZfaq. When he’s ready he may give us an album. Maybe ITunes will strike a bargain with Dimash and will get to buy his recordings. He will do what he wants as he always has. Dimash is no pushover. The director on the China show tried to change sos but Dimash refused to let him. He maybe 26 years old, but he has 22 years in the music business with two masters in classical and contemporary music. Plays nine instruments sings in twelve languages. He can write the music or tell (by ear) the musicians what to play. Pp

DIMASH is quite honestly in a class of his own. He incorporates influences from so many genres/styles and cultures that he is impossible to categorise. He transcends traditional musical norms. His level of professionalism and dedication to his art is incredible. It's easy to forget that he's still only 25, the same age as Justin Beiber, yet displays a sophistication and level of polished performance that is rare in one so young. He has superb confidence, charisma and charm, he's humble and never appears arrogant or insincere. He really is a unique unrivalled talent. If anyone had suggested 20 years ago that a kid from Khazakstan would be an international mega star conquering the world without selling a single CD in America or the UK, the leading pop music markets, it would've been impossible to imagine. The world has changed dramatically over 2 short decades. Music has changed, the rise of KPOP and breaking into US/UK/Europe & all Asian markets is a 21st century phenomenon. That these artists are taken seriously in the US & UK is a significant shift in attitudes. I really believe that Dimash is something new, a truly multi talented, truly international artist like no one before him. He has the potential to become one of the biggest stars of the 21st century.
