It might be his lack of English songs, although he does have them. He's moved to the US with his father to get known in this country (US) , He's been studying English like a damp sponge to soak it up as fast as he can. I love this song by Dimash though you should also check out the version from the Singer 2017 which is a far superior production and Dimash plays piano in that performance too. He is amazing.

I only discovered Dimash last month. Another song you really must react to is Sinful Passion from the same Sochi venue. t The band is the original creators of the song from back in the 70s. There is a final single breath run of 24 seconds! The whole song is stunning. The man in white shirt standing ovation is Igor Krutoy.
