When you see the backstage footage you can understand why he's so loved over there. All the other artists are off to one side looking a bit unapproachable and standoffish. Dimash spots the usual choir of girls obviously looking at him and itching to ask him for a photo but instead of ignoring them because he's about to go on stage he immediately tells them it's ok and beckons them over. He's immediately surrounded by about 50 teenagers and he's crouching down for selfies. He's kind, he's patient and those young girls will leave with the memory of a great artist with a huge heart.

I get the sense that Dimash was very considerate of Wei Wei, not upstaging her or drowning her out. They are both beautiful to look at and performed together exceptionally well. It seemed to be a really fun event.

New Song Dimash Is gone jazzy Amazing talent phenomenal artist

I recall from other reviewers that Dimash was not allowed to get first place in his first Chinese competition - it was for top Chinese performers only a Chinese could win first per the rules or tradition. Dimash was a special guest there. What he did win immediately, based on that performance, was hundreds of thousands of new Chinese fans.

I loved this song. It was just a fun song. The Chinese put on the most amazing performances. They make Dimash a part of so many festivals, shows,etc. He is so loved in China. His voice was beautiful and he used so many colors of his voice. I’ve listened to this many times to hear Dimash. Dimash has helped me separate the “people” from those in charge. I hope that’s true about Americans and those in charge. One has nothing to do with the other. Love your comments and always look forward to new ones. Bev

The I Am Singer Comp of 2017….1st Prize contained a musical ambassadorship for 12 months that required good Mandarin management, so Dimash was made Runnerup as he could not get 1st prize. And only Chinese entrants were in the comp prior to Dimash being offered a spot, and they had to be advanced well known artists who were to be judged by the audience made up of qualified or top level musicians, teachers, and performers from China. Things changed a bit in the future after Dimash surprised them all.

Dimash only came second because he wasn't Chinese, but we don’t care, he became the biggest winner overall 😂 BTW this song was compos3d by Lang Lang the famous pianist from China. He is friends with Dimadh and so is Jackie Chan who they showed in the audience here. Dimash has been compising a film score for him while he was in LA, where he will be heading back to after a spot on a concert on 2nd October here in China 🇨🇳

When I first heard this it made me a bit sad because Dimash's deep, starting voice sounded so grown up! That little 22 year old who went to China the first time was so cute! (He still is, but, like all of us, he's growing up.) Although he didn't win the Singer competition, I think China has more than made up for that by all that they have done for him since. (And it was probably good for Dimash's humility to come in second once 🙃😉)

I have been watching this almost nonstop since I first saw this song yesterday. I have nothing negative to say about Wei Wei - she is beautiful and has a lovely voice. It is challenging to match Dimash’s vocals, but he is a master in matching with the vocals of his partners in ensembles. He has such skill and finesse in singing that he knows how to make the most of the voices of others too. Love your reaction and love your desk!

I totally agree, he's never looked more stunning during a performance & that's saying something 😍 This is a very pretty song & performance, but for me the ending was just ridiculous with the girls with giant pearls (?), the waving youngsters with toy pandas, and then the baby pandas lol 😂🐼 Even the audience seemed to be shaken out of their mesmerised state when they got toys flung at them 😂 It's great to see Jackie Chan completely drawn into the performance, I love it for Dimash that they're such mutual fans 💖

Always nice to hear DImash going full Dimash. He is always nice to his duet partners, but I think he had a hard time to not overpower WeiWei because her voice, though a nice mezzo timbre, appears to be not powerful enough to even begin to keep up with him.
