Placido Domingo is 83 yrs old and is a huge living legend among the opera genre. He is originally from Spain. Dimash has been a huge fan of Placido's ever since he was a child and meeting him has been a life long dream. Placido heard about Dimash through his grandson who introduced him to Dimash's music and was quite impressed. Both Placido and Dimash were invited to serve as judges for a competition show called "Virtuosos". When they met, Placido was so excited to meet Dimash and told him how he'd heard about him and how impressed he was. Dimash was so humbled by this and expressed how honored he was to have finally met him. Placido suggested they'd do a duet together and here you have it. Dimash also sang "Ave Maria" accompanied by Hauser formally from the duet "2Cellos". Hauser also served as a judge along with Placido and Dimash and that's how they met. From 1990-2003, Placedo Domingo regularly performed with Lucieno Pavoratti, and José Carreras as The Three Tenors, considered the top 3 operatic tenors in the world. This is their first time performing together. Dimash wanted to sing with him from about age 5. They're officially there as judges for a young musicians' competition.

If you grew up in the world of fake music, you may not know that there is a world of music where big orchestras with great singers give concerts and a lot of people love it very much. Years ago, Dimash was on a sing off in America. He had made it known that he would not compete against children as that is disrespectful in his country. You are to raise the children up, not one up them. On the last night, they snuck in two children to compete. Dimash was already assured 2.5 million but he came on stage almost unable to speak or sing he was so upset. He told them they had agreed not to let him compete against children. The american jurists should have been put in jail for what they did. They treated him like dirt, I mean like pig poo dirt. He handed the 2.5 million dollars to the two children and walked out the door. The next day, a village near Almaty Kazakhstan where Dimash is from burned down. So he had walked away from the 2.5 million the day before and then he sent that much money to that village to help his fellow countrymen get back on their feet. He is the kindest, most loving, courteous, generous out there. When he has concert goers bring him flowers, he has those flowers taken to a elderly nursing home, or to a hospital. He has been known to sent money to hospitals and nursing homes and children's hospitals when they are running low on funds. I could go on and on.
