If you thought Michael Jackson's had some die-hard fans, Dimash's fans, which call themselves Dears, are clearly above them all. I started my Reaction channel in 2017, and not too long after, a storm of Dimash fans started crowding my comment section with requests. I had never heard of this artist ever before, so it was interesting to discover someone new. As soon as I heard his voice, I was immediately impressed. No wonder his fans are obsessed, his voice is incredible, and at first sight, he also seemed like a pretty humble person. The 26 years old artist from Kazakhstan, first reached his stardom after participating in a few national competitions and spreading his fame abroad, placing second on the Chinese show - I Am A Singer 2017-. You only need to listen to his songs for yourself, because it's impossible to explain such a talent with words. His vocal range is incredible. His extension is of 6 octaves and 5 semitones, goes from a low A1 to an incredible D8. Considering that, the highest note male record is an F#8 and Dimash is only 3 semitones away from it, I wonder if one day, he might try to beat the record. It would be so interesting to watch that! One other thing that caught my attention, was always impeccable perfect pitch. He is probably the only singer never to be flat or sharp in any note, and that's why many people gave him the nickname "Alien". But impeccable technique and interpretation are not the only good qualities of Dimash. The first version I heard was from The Singer also from 2017. In that version, Dimash was really sick but still wowed the audience with his compassionate and beautiful rendition. Ogni Pietra is gorgeous, but if you want less operatic, Across Endless Dimensions is from early 2020. In recent months, Dimash released a new one by Igor Krutoy called I Miss You. The Bastau concert was put on by the Kazakh state to welcome Dimash back from his very successful trip to China.. It is from beginning to end an extraordinary concert, the scale of it, the huge audience, the beautiful stage sets, and Dimash just superhuman! There's so many astounding songs, but try Adai/Daidedau and Give Me Love for starters, the latter just the most romantic love song ever performed! Enjoy!

Dimash’s hometown is Aktobe. He gave this concert in Bastau for his fellow Kazakh at his triumphant return from the Singer 2017 competition; notice how skinny he is after 14 weeks of grueling competition. Upward to 40,000 people were in attendance! This was his first ever solo convert and what a show he put on!!! You must also watch Daididau from that concert; he brought in Dombra players, a number you won’t believe... You can find all of it on Dimash’s channel. Thank you for your reaction!

I'd love to also see Hua Chenyu on your list....He is another truly remarkable young artist from China. He won a contest show called Super Boy in 2013, and now is a Megastar there, with a huuuuge fanbase. He was on the 2018 season of the Singer show (came in 2nd place to Jesse J), and any performance of his from the season is a great place to start - Qi Tan, Nunchuks, I Don't Care, Fake Monk. He also has incredible concert performances. He won the 2020 Singer show, and was named "Vocal King", and has been called one of the most influential singers under 30 in China, although he'll be 31 in Feb. The song was written by the real life boy that she adopted..... what happened was that the parents and son were in an accident of some kind...the parents were drowning but with their last effort, they held up their son until someone saved him. Not sure if boy was adopted by woman who saved him, but she who adopted him did write that song!!!

With as many subscribers as you have you must have many American and western European viewers who are frustrated because so few others in their countries have heard of Dimash but I've found a great way to introduce him: join nextdoor.com and post his story and links to his songs. The site is a place where thousands of each community's residents gather for information and when I posted a comment about "the best singer of our time" and links to his songs, dozens of people in my own small town enthusiastically thanked me for introducing Dimash to them and promised to spread the word. This is one of the most incredible performances that I have ever seen! The whole Bastau concert was stunning. This performance is so moving and his vocals are unmatched. I have seen this countless times and I'm so moved and stunned each and every time. This is a true and very sad story of a small boy who was lifted to safety by his father when the family was riding a cable car. There was a horrible accident and they hung there for a bit, and after the boy was lifted out, his mother & father and many others, plunged to their deaths. Han Hong (Chinese singer) heard about it and the boy. She adopted the boy and wrote/performed this song. Dimash heard it and was very moved by it & the true story. He asked Han Hong if he could sing it on 'The Singer' when he was a contestant and she agreed. Dimash learned the Mandarin in 1 wk (which he did not speak), and was worried that his accent would distract from the songs sad story. Right before the performance, he became ill and lost his voice. He had several injections to his throat and performed beautifully, but painfully. He lost his voice right after the performance. Then, later, when he had this Bastau concert, he performed 'Daybreak' again, but this time he is in full voice and healthy. It is stunning in it's power and beauty. Thank you for reacting to this!

It's very true you can listen to the same song of his but in different performances and he will sing it differently each and every time! This particular concert in Bastau was pack full of songs and almost 2.5 hrs long! As others have said this was a true tragic story. The women who wrote this song (from the childs point of view) actually ended up adopting the boy! So a happy ending.....
