He's 29 years old now. He sang this song as a guest at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2018. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. While Together wasn’t a representation of Dimash’s vocal range or technical ability, it was a representation of how he feels about his family, the music was composed by his 16 year old brother, the MV was Dimash’s gift to Mansur for his birthday and both siblings were in the video. The message is also a message that Dimash strongly believes in, so Together is representing a large part of his character in that song. I will say that I didn’t go read any comments left by anyone, hopefully they were informative and supportive of Dimash’s brothers work and his musical ability, while only 16, Mansurs ability exceeds most people, and this is a upbeat pop type song, so musically appropriate. Ha! You get it now, don't you? "Together" is a good song but THIS is Dimash lol. Most people are introduced to Dimash for the first time through this song so it was just a little strange to see someone discover him through something like "Together". While we Dears often recommend more of his songs along this line that highlight his insanely unique skill set he does have a huge repertoire of music in different genres, styles, and languages. Some of my favorite songs are his Kazakh pieces like "Aqquym", "Kieli Meken", and crowd favorite "Daididau". "Unforgettable Day" at GAKKU will literally blow your mind... I'm talking actual brain explosion! Just keep going, there's not a wrong turn to be had with Dimash!
