Dimash is a 29-year-old Kazakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and I was informed that he is completing a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. He was recently in Los Angeles, USA, working on new material of his that his fans (he affectionately calls us "dears") are eagerly awaiting. He is a kind, polite and compassionate person, proud of his culture and his country.

He came in second place because they had to save face and he was denied his rightful win. I watched the entire show, even the other singers. That's how I know because I heard them all. The first time I introduced Dimash to my family, they thought he was mechanically enhanced and it wasn't real. I mean I was astounded that I was showing them someone so talented and they had to discount it. I sobbed the first time I heard Dimash. This is his cover of a French song. I heard from a French man that he sounds French when he sings this. He is an awesome performer and singer. Hi Jose , my Fiance listens to him all the time and watches all the reaction videos. Dimash parents are Opera singers. He is from Kazakhstan.He went to Music college but he was naturally born with a 5 octave vocal range. He can also sing songs in 13 different languages. He has won hundreds of competitions and even made his own videos and albums. His fandom are known as DEARS.. It is just AMAZING to me for somebody to be naturally born with a talent like that. Jose that song was just a little sample he can hold the highest note it seems like for a minute so you need to check some more out because that video was when he was younger, he is on fire now !!!!!

I liked and subscribed hoping for more Dimash reactions😊 The thing with the flowers has something to do with respect for the artist. It's a cultural thing. The audience listens to a performance without yelling or screaming that the artist can no longer be heard. No sound may be missing. In return, they then shower Dimash with flowers and gifts. That's the norm there. He then always donates the flowers to hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions. Russian audiences are more reserved, but that doesn't mean they don't love Dimash. They just don't show it that way. Like I said, it's a cultural thing. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song as a guest at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2018. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. If possible, always watch the videos from start to finish. Very often there are interesting things to learn. Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. I became a DEAR just 48 hours ago, Jose. Some strange algorithm put his latest, When I've Got You, in my suggestions feed the other night. I then fell down the rabbit hole for 9 hours (!), finding out what I could about Dimash, reading articles, watching so many videos, even finding ones that translate this French song (one of the TOUGHEST to even sing, I've read) into English, and by dawn I was hooked by it... it even feels LIFE-CHANGING, to be gifted with just LISTENING to such beauty. In short, he is asking, aloud, "why do I live? why do I die? I wish I were a bird, the Earth must look more beautiful from above, from above! In the grand lottery of the Universe I was given the wrong number, I feel trapped in my skin... I want a metamorphosis...sometimes I feel waves from another world, I've never been grounded, I'm sure the Earth could not be more beautiful than from above, from above, etc..." At the end, softly he says. "Sleep, Child, Sleep." That was a down and dirty translation from the three or four slightly different performances I've seen translated. Another Dear might be able to pass along the correct lyrics...? It's like... accidentally hearing an ANGEL sing... you are breathless, aware of the heart beating in your chest and willing it to be QUIET! Been listening to Dimash for quite some time... an amazing vocalist.. drop in his rabbit hold and learn a bit more.. he is not only classical but sings more pop like like music as well... he has covered Queen .. check out his songs. His range is out of this world. He sings in several languages and he has an amazing catalog. He has performed in the US but as usual, even the greatest of artists have a difficult time becoming well known and marketed on this side of the world Dimash is truly a rare artist and his fans will come and listen to your reactions... millions of them.

I discovered Dimash in 2017 on a show called, The Singer, which is located in China. I have been a fan since. Both his parents are singers as well. Dimash has been studying music since the age of 5. I hope to see more reactions of Dimash on your channel. In 2020 i discovered our boys of BTS.

Dr. Dimash Qudaibergen is from Kazakhstan. He completed his Doctoral studies and was awarded his Doctorate in Music in 2023. He began his classical vocal and instrument training at age 5. Fully obsessed to be the very best in his field, he has spent his life rehearsing 3 to 6 hours a day. He is currently considered the greatest singer in the world with a 7+ octave range. Totally unheard of. After earning his Doctorate, he headed to the U.S. to train in Film Directing. He will be 30 May 24th 2024. His parents were singers in Kazakhstan and fairly well known. This video you watched, he was in competition in Russia. Russians do not give standing ovations, but many bring flower bouquets. Dimash is tall at 6'3". He is kind, giving, honors both elders and children. He has also studied contemporary/pop singing and performs many genera of music from opera, (having just performed with the great Placido Domingo and loves Michael Jackson.
