My opinion: This is the best and most versatile piece of music EVER and will be for centuries. Dimash's vocals are the best that humanity generated. I wanted to go to the Almaty concert but did not manage. It was very hard for me to cope up with that fact. I will witness this performance live in May in Antalya, Turkey, and I know this is going to blow my mind again even though I know what he's up to. I experienced Dimash live in Düsseldorf, Germany, last April and I know from experience that his aura and being surrounded by thousands of dears still adds to the concert experience dramatically. I have to confess: I got addicted to Dimash, his voice, his stage presence, his body language, his vocals, his interaction with his dears. Nothing and no one compares to him. He is just awesome. The first time I heard Dimash singing SOS I loved the song and his voice. I kept hearing and couldn't identify if I liked the songs or scared me because my body was trembling and my eyes were crying. Now I know that every time I hear him, I love him more. Every song has a deeper meaning and evey time becomes more and more beautiful, even if I keep having the same feelings. Overwhelmed is the perfect word. I was there and I couldn't breathe, so much pain in his voice... Around me people were crying... I couldn't even cry... I felt I would "dishonor " that pain crying, searching a relief... I felt like I should feel all that pain, be there entirely. I don't know if it makes sense for you but is how I felt... This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life. Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb). You must react to the MV, it is a short-movie That was a 3 years project. He composed the music, he produced it himself, he wrote the movie script, he act (really act) in the movie...
