He has let her go.

Dimash had told his co-producer Dmytro Gordon for some time that he wanted to do a fusion of jazz, rock, and R&B and Dmytro's suggestion was to make it edgy and fresh, so while Dimash composed the song, Dmytro worked with Candice Kelly on the lyrics. The result is this great song from Dimash. It's a beautiful love song full of passion and longing. The video is magnificent from beginning to end.
