I love the complete back-seatedness of Riz's grief over his dad in comparison to Gorgug and Zelda, in the date episode. Theyre getting ice cream and being awkward and cute together, while in the background it's just like, "FATHERRRR :'("

Probably based off a real person Brennan knew, it's a somewhat common archetype. Zelda is an almost perfect representation of my first girlfriend in high school.

Zelda s character really evolved a lot being a protagonist, yet it doesnt fell like other totally different character, i like that.

brennan did such a good job staying true to her while also showing what she’s like with her friends and developing her character more

@jonah.ross. I think the trick to it was staying true to the original concept, a very shy, alternative, unconfident, low-key girl with a family that are very different from her vibe. Expanding on that concept by juat looking bellow the surface of why she is like that is a great way to avoid changing the character so much. I think it speaks to Brennans world building skills that a very minor character got such a solid character foundation that her personality can be widened without her feeling too different.

@@VeronicaWarlockErika’s character is super into nature and peace and stuff, so she did that as a joke and then they all did it. and then someone cast a spell to get out of their chains. edit: at 22:55, when they bring their hands in and down, idk what that was. that’s before they got out of their chains but I can’t remember what they’re doing 😂
