It never occurred to me that Gobble was a turkey. I just assumed Gobble was a weird name for a humanoid butler, but obviously Gobble being a turkey makes so much more sense. Thank God for animation

I love how Emily was trying to have a big reveal of not being able to fly, something she'd been hinting at at least once leading up to this, but it was overshadowed by Gobble's reaction and then never addressed again

I for the life of me cannot understand the appeal of critical role. Unfunny forced and crude jokes with no cleverness and poor comedic timing. D20 is light years ahead of anything else (naddpod excluded)

So many things, I love the peanut/pheasant gallery as birds that are there great. I love Squak pulling down a bookshelf in search of alcohol with a fully stocked bar in the background. I love Gobble being a straight up turkey with a monocle. I’m sad with where it ended because I wanted to see Gobble backing his ass up in an attempt to get away while dancing. Dare I say this is an icon and mature

Highly suggest trying it out, a few of their campaigns are on KZfaq. This one is called A Court of Fey and Flowers which does have the first episode, or you can start with Fantasy High which kicked off Dimension 20. The dialogue for each one is awesome and hilarious.

@@rufiredup90A campaign is the full storyline/a game of DnD (Dungeons and Dragons). Dimension 20 is a podcast type show where they play DnD, so each season is a campaign in this case. They do a really good job and I highly recommend you check it out.

@@rufiredup90Genuinely unsure if you are memeing or trolling, months later, and presumably you looked the word up or asked someone, but for yourself or future readers; A "campaign" is a term used to describe a story or story arc of a D&D game. Think of it like one single season of a TV show. It can be a long or a short a the DM (or "the guy running the game; dungeon master") wants it needs it to be to fulfill the story they want to tell. The next campaign afterwards could then the same characters or entirely new ones, though usually people usually make new characters for new campaigns. There are other definitions, such as uses in war and the like but in this context, there you go. For bonus points, a "session" is one meeting of the players to play in a campaign. You can think of it like one "episode" in a TV show series.

I have to point attention to how BEAUTIFUL and detailed the backgrounds are. Like how the arm chairs and table have wings and talon decorations, the sconce looks like a hay-stuffed nest,the wing motifs over the bar, and of course the Easter eggs sprinkled all over.

This is an AMAZING rendition of one of the greatest moments in this campaign, and I love that the animator captured the chaos at the table by having the other players as birds in the nest! (With great character designs-I could instantly tell who was who!) Awesome work, and I hope D20 works with this animator again! EDITED TO ADD I JUST NOW NOTICED THE TINY OWL HOUSE WITH HOOTY FACE ON THE BOOKSHELF. WELL PLAYED
