I love the way this page turned out!! I am not a fan of the colour melon but it looks so lovely on this page with the black shape etc. So beautiful & one I would like to scrap lift one day, although I don't own a cricut. I think I like all the angles on it so it wouldn't be hard to copy just using strips of 1/4' wide paper. I love hexagons... I also love the way the striped melon worked under the photo once you had it cut to size, it really popped. I bought some extra holographic paper in the recent sale because ages ago you used it behind the photos of your children & I though it would be nice used in the album I am going to do of my great granddaughter to give the photos an extra pop & romance especially using butterflies & flowers. I must start using my bone folder this way, although I recently found that I have a complete set of those tools in the different size balls for flower making that I didn't know I owned!! 😄 That is what comes of collecting over the years & storing things in two different rooms plus a forgetful memory!!

Thank you! You could totally get this look with skinny paper strips! I would love to see if you try it. Holographic paper is so fun to work with! I am glad you remembered you have it! Melon is not my most favorite either but it sure worked perfectly here! It has its place 😊

The geometric wreath is great. I have not seen that before. It is a perfect compliment to your photo. The photo captured an adorable moment. Love this layout.

Beautiful Layout ❤❤❤ What brand do u use for your white mat? How many pounds of cardstock? Is it OK to use 110? I noticed the ctmh photo placement is much thinner and lighter. But it's much heavier than regular copy papy. 65lb.

Thank you! I use ctmh for the white cardstock, all their cardstock is 65lb cover, except the black I used is their black core which is quite a bit heavier. I’m not sure the weight. Yes, the photo place holders are not cardstock but are heavier than copy paper. They are perfect for mats if you cut your photo down a bit then they don’t add much bulk. You could use 110lb but it’ll just be a little bulkier. I prefer using that weight for cards but you certainly don’t have to use it just for cards.
