There is some truth to that - when I was younger my music tastes could only encompass one genre (or sub genres) but as I got older I started to appreciate music in other forms. I still go back and listen to the classics of my youth from time to time and get a kick listening to them.

This song is so intense, so beyond metal, so beyond jazz or other styles, somewhat mezmerizing.... Fantastic!

2. Spellbound (By The Devil) You have returned to the torture-chambers To find peace among the rotting corpses You have returned to the execution place To inhale the smell of blood Death and terror rules the land We have been spellbound You have returned to the hidden graves Only you know about You have returned to to face your victims And feel sensation of violence once again Death and terror rules the soul You have been spellbound By the Devil Murderer, you have returned To create fear and sorrow Death and terror rules the land We have been spellbound By the Devil

@moory33: It is line-up from 1997. The bassist is Nagash, and the woman keyboard player is Kimberly Goss (Sinergy). She was only a live member for a few concerts after Stian's departure and before Mustis arrival.

It's amazing, even to this day how people waste so much time having a pissing contest as to WHO's the best metal drummer or what band is above the rest. Instead of fighting amongst each other, WE metal-heads should be uniting as ONE against pop culture, selling out, etc. It honestly doesn't matter what genre of metal you listen to. The point is no matter what country you go to, metal fans will ALWAYS have something in common...our passion for metal, and that is what separate US from them.

Itachi is no idiot, but extreme metal is an umbrella term for various forms of black and death metal and some forms of doom and thrash. DB are symphonic black metal, which was first perpetrated by the mighty Emperor. Dimmu wre formerly (on their early albums) melodic black metal, which is a rather rare form of music.
