Spellemannprisen har fra første utdeling i 1973 hatt status som Norges fremste musikkpris. Prisen har siden blitt delt ut årlig til artister og opphavsmenn som har utmerket seg og bidratt stort på musikkfronten i løpet av året som har gått. Spellemannprisen skal hedre, inspirere og motivere alle musikere og å styrke samholdet i musikkmiljøet, på tvers av sjangre. Gjennom et stjernespekket show presenteres årlig et utvalg av det store mangfoldet som finnes innen norsk musikkliv.

I can't believe this, in other countries metal band never gets that much recognition. Whereas in Norway they do. This is great for a black metal band.

@@tor1189 lol, you idiots keep using the word "autotune", without knowing what it actually means. Sure they add a bit of reverb and echo/delay on post production of the DB songs, but that's so far away from usual "autone" as it gets. Live, he still sounds like a beast, even unplugged.
