It was good for both, it probably got Dimzy fans that wouldn't normally watch his content or listen to his music and it made Uncle get a lot of views and Subscribers.

@@mysteryman9641 The interview yeah I agree with that but the music I can't agree, sometimes it's about retaining that image that you have which will serve you better in the long run. We can see this in almost anything, commonly sports, if you overstay instead of retiring for a few extra millions in the long run it can hurt your brand, as you brand diminishes because people are remembering you when you're a shell of yourself compared to when you were in your prime the business opportunities become limited after retirement opposed to leaving while on top people are still attached to that brand and remember you in a better light meaning more business opportunity. Roy Jones Jr being an example. The reason why Jay-Z is still seen as this iconic figure above his peers and not watered down is because he doesn't just attach himself to anything, he picks wisely and understand brand value and isn't just everywhere if that makes sense.

@@mysteryman9641 I think he's lucky that the video only did 317k and people glossed over it. At the time he was banging way more views so he got lucky that it didn't have as much traction but even now he isn't hitting as many views like he used to but I don't think it was due to that song but it definitely could've watered down what he was doing. Not necessarily the image but quality control wise, if we're being honest it was more of a gimmicky song not to say it was shit but quality wise it isn't something you'd listen to.
