Who wins the difficulty so far?
This is me trying to figure out how much a routine could worth if it was executed perfectly.
MODIFICATION 1:25 Here it could be seen as Transmission without hands / Rotation of the hoop (without visual control / rotation) (0.3) and then Backscale Balance (0.5) + Rotation of the hoop (without hands / during a BD) (0.2).

MODIFICATION 1:25 Here it could be seen as Transmission without hands / Rotation of the hoop (without visual control / rotation) (0.3) and then Backscale Balance (0.5) + Rotation of the hoop (without hands / during a BD) (0.2). I used different videos from GP Moscow and Russian Nationals (and not included, but taken into account, traning from Moscow). I obviously know Dina Averina as badly injured at Russian Nationals, so I know she can perform better. I also always assumed that Dina could do 1080° Ring/Backsplit Pivot here, even if she usually does 720° (this is a 0.2 point difference for one pivot). I am surprised that her hoop Difficulty is not that high so far. On the other hands, her clubs are the most ambitious routine ever! Her ribbon routine difficulty is quite high too. In term of Apparatus difficulty she's using the walkover/backscale position more often than before to pill up AD, which can be tiring for her back but also too cheated ''without visual control'' position to be faster. Overall she's having one of the highest total Difficulty, which is one of the goal to secure gold in Tokyo. I am open to critics and will gladly received corrections, so let's comment on Dina Averina Difficulty ! Hoop 15.0 (5.1 9.9) (with modification, see above) Ball 16.6 (5.1 11.5) Clubs 17.7 (5.1 12.6) Ribbon 14.1 (5.4 8.7)

Clematis RGVideos regarding the theoretical score with hoop... I think that at 1:15 we can assume a R with 4 rotations as you did in other risks and in Arina’s... then at 1:26 we can see two transmissions: one from neck to leg (AD3 trasmission + rotation without view) and then one from leg to leg during walkover (AD3 transmission + rotation during rotation and without view). Then also a 0.2 AD during the backscale balance... the handling is different from the pivot immediately after because the rotations are also out of view! I also think that after the AD4 of rebound during the stag leap, she intends to perform another catch valuable 0.2 or 0.4 depending from the high of the re-throw. This means there is a theoretical +0.8/1.00. I know that it’s a little far-fetched but since we are talking about theoretical scores...
@saraciaralli7170
@saraciaralli7170 4 жыл бұрын
Regarding ball... 2:12 I think she intends to do also AD3 of throw (even if she performs the throw really later)... 2:34 during penche balance there is surely an AD (maybe 0.2 if transmission is not valid here). I’m really surprised that they managed to construct such a valuable routine with ball and they didn’t succeed in doing the same thing with hoop... that paradoxically has more criteria

The Dina routines have been a complete mess after 2017 and they deteriorate even more every year. I really hope that Arina stays on top -- she performs with greater actual complexity and at a higher execution. I hope that the next code of points is changed to incentivize Karpushenko's style, which is already evident in the innovative routines of Pobedushkina and Kuznetsova. Although Kramarenko's 6-7x penche pivots and feet are insanely good, her routines are pedestrian and formulaic and utterly unimpressive, and I really, really hope they don't tailor the next code of points around her. Rhythmic gymnastics is only good if there is a balance between athleticism/choreography/apparatus [and the apparatus technique at the top-8 level should be innovative and impressive]. The sport was correcting in the right direction with Karpushenko and Kudryavtseva [and Halkina, Vladinova... even Linoy still strikes an interesting balance, albeit lacking a bit of the body difficulty impressiveness of the legacy countries], but after 2017 it has become a complete joke... with a bunch of gymnasts just cramming endless-meaningless apparatus "difficulty" [like Dina and the RUS Group; which is absurd that its quality counts the same or more than the legit difficulty of the BUL group routines].

You're completely right, Dina's routines are just objectively bad, it's not even a routine, it's just ad after ad after ad, mediocre execution and the music choices are just the most predictable and bland, I can't comprehend how Dina is in the same lane as Kudry, kanaeva, bessonova or other great gymnasts, I don't think we have seen a gymnast get so much help scoring wise since kapranova, she's a good gymnast but nothing justifies why Arina or Linoy are not at her level medals wise, as for Lala I have a feeling that she's going down the same direction, but at least we have trubnikova, and karpushenko's gymnasts, and other innovative gymnasts like Kaleyn and Halkina

By God, Dina is extraordinary, she doesn't create the code, she simply adapts better than anyone to that code, so she gets more score. Of course she deserves to be among the best, although my favorite is Yana, but Kanaeva had more medals than anyone and 2 Olympic golds. I hope Arina wins gold in Tokyo after being in Dina's shadow all this time.

yes. I like the Averinas, but these routines don't have any artistry or interpretation, just ad after ad and, let's say, the same ad for the last three years. Just look Dina's clubs. Basically the same routine from last year, the same 'dance steps', just chnge the music. Sad to see that this is the best of the sport.

They're different jumps, watch her legs carefully. First one is a cabriole. I don't remember the name of the second one, but she switches her legs and they don't touch.
@dannyjq
@dannyjq 4 жыл бұрын
0:53 i think she is allowed to use "no hands" criteria since she's only using the 0.2 transmission base 4:25 and 4:59 she is allowed to reuse the BD? 5:10 can the second criteria be "mixed catch"? 5:15 she can't use dive leap since she's already using the rotation for the next AD, so i guess it has to be "BD" (even though it's really unclean) 6:39 she probably wants to count the last rotation as well (of course not valid) 6:53 i think she's trying to use the criteria "on the floor" instead of in rotation
@ClematisRGVideos
@ClematisRGVideos 4 жыл бұрын
0:53 that's what I think 4:25 4:59 aren't exactly the same: the first one is a cabriole (touching legs) and the second one a scissors (switching legs). She's jumping very low, so it's difficult to notice (also the angle doesn't help!) 5:10 oh yes, forgot about that one *runs and hides deep behind a bush* 5:15 Yes I'm thinking about a BD too. It wasn't very clear either at Russian championships, since she didn't had time to perform the end, so I'm still trying to figure it out... 6:39 Yes. Can I please stop being tortured about those extra rotation? 6:53 oh yes, more probable!

What is the difference between the 0.3 and 0.2 Transmission base?
@dannyjq
@dannyjq 3 жыл бұрын
@@Wiserwords25 0.3 transmission is "transmission without hands", however she would also be using the criteria "without hands" and generally u can't use that criteria with that base. HOWEVER, samuel and i attended a judging seminar held by international ukrainian judges, and they said if the AD has another base, such as free rotations, then u can't really say "without hands criteria can't be applied" because u CAN apply it to the free rotations base, so they counted an AD with 2 bases free rotations + transmission without hands, and 1 criteria without hands, as a 0.3 AD. on the other hand i saw clematis RG judging another routine and only counted an AD with the same bases and criteria as a 0.2 AD, because of my initial reasoning, and her D score came out to the same total as the judges at that competition (but we don't know if they counted everything in the same way like maybe she had extra 0.1 here, lose 0.1 there). so i think it's just another thing judges don't entirely agree on, but when it comes to russian gymnasts they will take the higher number 😅 or maybe pretend there's another criteria like "outside visual control"

Why the risk in 6:24 is an R4? And is it allowed to have two identical risks on the same routine?
@StephansFloorMusics
@StephansFloorMusics 4 жыл бұрын
Because there are 4 body rotations in that risk: 1 rotation during the throw (walkover forward), another one during the catch (chainé) and 2 other rotations between the throw and the catch (2 chainés). And no, it isn't allowed to have two (or more) exactly identical risks on the same routine.
