One of the most incredible festivals in the world. Located in the city of Iloilo Philippines. Combined with culture, traditions into live a live dance performance and drum beats that sound throughout the city.

It's a honor to be able to live and document my journey here in the Philippines. 24 Countries and there's nothing that comes close to this incredible place. ALSO Thanks for every one who came by and said hi, love meeting you guys. You can tell the hard work and dedication by these young kids, mostly high school kids! 6 MONTHS INTENSE training to showcase the culture and heritage of Philippines.

It's so fascinating to see this kind of festival spark interest among foreigners. We have 175 ethnolinguistic groups, a proof of our cultural diversity. I wish we could have more festivals like this. I don't think many Filipinos realize that our cultural diversity is what makes us unique. Let us not lose this uniqueness. There are tons of beautiful countries with cities full of high rise buildings in the world now, but there is not much nations that celebrate different cultures. Only in the Philippines will you see the whole country celebrating the Feast of the Black Nazarene and Eid'l Fitr at the same time. Thank you for this, Finn. Thank you for digging deeper into our culture. You and Kyle show the side of the Philippines that other Travel Vloggers disregard: The hospitality and the resilience of the Filipinos and the diversity of PH culture. As a Filipino, I feel like this is what makes me proud of my country, for these are the traits that makes you want to come back and maybe, settle here for good. Kudos to you! I just subscribed.

Just now watching this in 2021. The incredible creativity in choreography, theme, planning and the work into making the imagination into the final performance. Finn's photography also excellent. How proud we should be of our country. I have never visited my parent's native country, but I wish I had before I was too old to travel well. It is time for people to recognize the Philippines as an emerging force in the world.

What many don’t realize is the time and effort put into these performances. Costumes, props, and sets are only half of it. Coordinating a schedule with everyone and then learning, blocking, and fine tuning choreography, and then to learn how to do it while moving is an extraordinary feat in and of itself. I was lucky enough to learn it small scale here in the states when we contracted the late Sir Edwin Duero (previous dinagyang group coordinator winner) to come out and and teach us. An invaluable experience that I will forever cherish. Thanks for this video! It really captures the essence and the energy that these performers have for this tradition.

Im here watching this again for the 3rd time after watching the 2019 Dinagyang festival from other vloggers. I still like to refer back to this one because it shows it well with the close ups, capturing the performer's facial expressions, and slowmos and good music

Finn, one reason why there's no traffic that time is because during the Dinagyang festival, all public transportation from outside the city is withheld at least 3-5 kilometers from the city proper. It means people from outside the city would need to walk for at least that long.

I saw the Kadayawan Festival in DAVAO in 2014 and I thought that was spectacular. Finn, I have been following you for quite some time now (mostly from my former channel) for almost a year and this is, in my opinion the best yet. I guess it affects people in different ways but after watching THIS video; if I was a Filipino, I DEFINITELY would be proud to be one. My wife and I are hoping to go back this up-coming summer. We have family up in CDO and Medina. I plan on making this trip (my third) the best yet. Thank you so much.

This is better than any kind of those events I saw throughout the world. So much new ideas :) The other events are of course all nice and some even also focus on being a cultural showcase instead of just a party magnet. But here you can see something, that is special to the Philippines in general, which not so much people already spoke about.. but you can see it everywhere, in little things or in big.. Its the enormous creative ability and potential there.. I never saw so much people who have hidden an inner artist, performer, designer, choreographer, musician, performance artist, inventor in them. At least thats what I feel. So good that nobody there seems to say, directly or indirectly "there is no space for that when one is grown up and has to work" as it is done in my country, at least between the lines, subconciously, and so many could preserve the imagination and creativity :)

Amazing I was surprised to see how huge this Festival is. You captured the happy faces of both participants or performers and the audiences. Great video as usual. You made me feel proud to be a Filipino. Thank you fir sharing now I appreciate my country more than ever cause you are instrumental (and other bloggers too) in opening our eyes to the beauty of the Philippines and more so it's people who make the difference.
