As a European I hadn’t even considered that the furniture was ‘mismatched’ - I think we approach furniture as more of a curation process and the result is more eclectic like this ❤ I approve!

Yes wash those clothes lol. That baby girl is on her time. So exciting. I had so much trouble getting pregnant and keeping babies. I have a boy and girl grown now but I’m so excited for you. I was the same way. It’s the best time in life soak in every moment and don’t listen to nasty Nancy’s please. Hugs

Yeah I couldn't agree more on "you cannot plan everything" part. I washed and put the clothes in the closet, prepared a hospital bag at 31 weeks, and at 32 weeks 3 days, I had to deliver my baby with a sudden c section because of preeclampsia (helpp syndrome) ! We are both doing okay but these little ones come when they want to and being prepared is the best we can do! Wish you all the best!

I highly recommend only do under 6 mths laundry. All babies grow at different paces and you may want to exchange things. I also recommend you have the carseat in the car and your bag started. I went from "i got lots of time" to "you'll be induced in 2 weeks" at 35 weeks. Anxiety made my over packing cray cray Crayola.

Honestly getting everything set up at this point is a good idea. You might want to think about putting a basket together with a few diiapers, wipes and necessities in your room. Even though her room is close in the beginning that will seem far lol. Love your wardrobe, so pretty.

In babies closet removing the existing rod and adding 2 or 3 rows of rods is amazing! Because baby clothes are so small you can triple your closet size and use the dress for storing other things! Just a tip I used with my baby and it made a world of a difference for storage lol. If you want to use power tools some more 😂

I have the maxi cosi Basinet and it gets very hard to reach over to pick her up while I’m in bed. Especially if you tear 😨 so cool that yours has the sleeper mode. Def getting this one if we have a second baby someday.

They ''say'' that when a momma nests really hard (and it was true for me) that the baby will be here within 2 weeks..My son was actually already a month old by the time I was supposed to be where you are right now he decided he was gunna be early..

Random question, do you plan on keeping your cat out of your bedroom once baby comes? I have two cats but I’m a little sad thinking about closing the door on them at night 😭

I'm so sad at the thought of locking my cat out too! I think like with anything we'll see how it goes, mostly paying attention to how she interacts with baby during the day (if she's constantly trying to get into the bassinet or not lol)

@@macdinglecats usually avoid new ppl for a while. My oldest is 15 and my cats didn't mess with him. I mean they would lay beside him and alert me when he started stirring but mostly they just acted very cautious around him and very gentle.

Get used to “stuff” babies become toddlers that come with toys!!! All organisation becomes different again! And now I have teens and it’s all about taking rotten food on plates out of rooms and cups and empty drink cans! Welcome to he world of parenting! ❤
