Still alot better than 3rd party Famicom/NES clones. For a mobile NES, I'd definitely buy it. But not for anything else.

It's really interesting going back to this video actually, cause there's so any things that spawned from this device that are frankly amazing, my personal favorite being the RK2020. I remember seeing this video years ago and really wishing there was a good version of this. Then I totally forgot about it, found what basically IS a good version, and then refound this video.

Ok, i went and looked up info of this thing. Dingoo even made their own Linux distro for this thing called Dingux. The UI and games don't look that bad for something that's running on a 360MHz MIPS processor and 32MB of RAM. O_o

In the United States at least, our power cables have three prongs so they are properly grounded, but the third prong is optional. These days you only see two-prong plugs on low-voltage devices, cheap tat, and record players and microwaves from the 70's.

It's actually crazy how 13 years ago an emulator handheld wasn't good enough to beat a PSP 2000. Now for the price of a PSPvita you can have a device that can emulate better than a PSP 3000 and a Nintendo DSI. I think Dingoo is a collector's item now. I wonder if Ashen kept his?

I miss these days, I was 8 when this came out and remember watching it like it was yesterday

10 years later. My Dingoo is still collecting fingerprints from across the room to this day. You don't even have to touch it to get it all grimy. After this review someone came up with a Linux based upgrade that actually made this thing almost tolerable.

That head rocking heavy metal intro. The Dingoo did open doors for Chinese manufacture to make more devices for the purposes of emulating as many game systems as it can. Something is still going on today.

I got one of these, installed custom firmware and a ton of roms with very little issues. Awesome little console, I love it

I used to own one of these and they're actually pretty sweet, emulation is solid, buttons feel nice, and its affordable.

"You can record yourself swearing and play it back at your grandmother" i lost it.

So they cut a ds in half then loaded the os of the psp, then for final touches added the color pallet of the ps buttons...

The Chinese do actually use North American plug sockets. However, traditional Chinese sockets are similar to British sockets except the bottom two prongs are diagonal. Makes no sense to me either.

Man i had one of these back in the day. I got it to replace my GP2X f100. LOVED the a320 device. Would love to have one again. Ironic how i got it to replace the gp2x, and all these years later the gp2x is the one i still have.

In Australia, you can have 2-pin or 3-pin plugs and the top pins are angled and the bottom one is vertically straight

what happened to this is dingoo bankrupt soon after the release of this, and another chinese company Gomeo took over this product, hence the software support plunged.

**Hand raised** That's a North American mains adapter without grounding (grounding would have three prongs). Both USA and Canada I think. Not sure about Mexico though. A good bet it might be the same. Not sure how far down that type goes. Maybe South America? Don't worry about it though as I think (as in "it might be? Ehhh?") that's a USB adapter (didn't see a cable with it). Just buy a proper three prong USB charger at Tesco or something (or whatever the equivalent of Walmart is. Probably Walmart?).

I love how it has a picture of the PSPs Menu on the box.

That is a type A plug, which is used in North America and Japan. We also use type B plugs, which are the same as type A except for the additional grounding prong below the positive and negative ones. Some type A plugs are reversible, while others are not, and type B plugs can only go one way.
