That was a very pleasant trip down memory lane. I was lucky enough to have many of these Dinkies, new, as a young boy in the fifties. There were also some that I wanted but never managed to obtain. Each month the back cover of Meccano Magazine in the UK carried a full page ad. featuring new Dinky Toy releases - the stuff of dreams for a youngsters like me.

Glad you enjoyed it. I collect Dinky's and had a Meccano set. I have some of the Meccano magazines and hope to make a video on some of the images. Thanks for the comment. I suppose I make these videos as a tribute to the past and the toys. No computers in our days.

Great stuff - I actually have 54 of the vehicles in the catalogue in my personal collection. Dinky toys last forever ! 😁👍🏼

I HAVE A 3,000+ COLLECTION OF DINKYS MANY IN ORIGINAL BOXES AND BLISTER PACKS IN MINT CONDITION. BEEN COLLECTING THEM FROM 1955-1985. I ALSO HAVE A MASSIVE COLLECTION OF ORIGINAL MATCHBOXES AND REDLINE HOTWHEELS MOST M.I.B AND M.I.P. 70+ YEARS OF COLLECTING. LOVE EM❤
