Also, the Geneva Convention states that a medic can go into battle with a firearm, but once they shoot their weapon, they are no longer classed as a medic and can be fired on.

Yeah, and in the pacific theatre, they didn’t wear patches or any medical insignia, due to the Japanese soldiers violating the laws of war and shooting the medics

Fun fact: during ww2 most medics in the western front don't wear their medic patches so they dont get killed by snipers and etc.

I feel like the concept for the video was taken from that one "Band of Brothers" episode. Edit: nvm it totally was. That last scene was the exact same as the one from the end of the battle when Pvt. Blithe kills that German and never sees him again.

Not to be rude or but you guys actually messed up. In Band of Brothers (the guy with the freckles who kills the german in slwmotn, they are in the 506th parachute infantry, E Co., 101st Airborne, and the soldiers in this are in the 82nd Airborne. Other than that, well done, did a very good job on this, so i've gotta drop a like.

Things that stood out: 1) MP40 is a sub machine gun. It does not fire lone shots, it can fire its whole clip at once. 2) Standard issue rifle for Germans was Karabiner 98k (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_War_II_firearms_of_Germany , en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karabiner_98k ) and it has 5 shots in a clip. It does not need to be reloaded after each shot. Otherwise, the clip is good.

It the Kar98k was not reloaded, rather when using a bolt action weapon you chamber the next round by bolting it. NOT RELOADING IT!

The SS is government police. The Waffen-SS were a subsidary military force started by Heinrich Himmler. Most people treat the "Waffen-SS" as elite forces, but in most cases they were not. Especially by this point in the war (1944-1945).
