You should try and tame the Ferox. It’s in the artic somewhere. When you feed it 1-2 elements, it turns into a feral beast and so I’m told, it can jump from island to island.

GAMEPLAN= Level up and get a forge, use the robot to buy metal ingots from the store. Once you’ve done that get boomerangs or slingshots and knock out a dino which you can leave on neutral outside your base and it can kill the swarms very easily. Also when using the torch go in 3rd person to actually hit them. Overall you need to level because that’s how you get better items.

Move to the Arctic tame a ferox and other things and in the Arctic you don’t have to deal with swarms. Go the s arctic. But if you stay in the bug watch out for bloodstalker they are huge spiders I will grab you from any position and take you up wherever they are and eat you. To tame them you need blood packs like 200 of them
