Lou plays that bass like it's a toy. He is one of the most guitar - rocking bass players I've ever seen. It is crazy entertaining.

I love how Lou's bass playing improves their 90s stuff. They are good songs (especially this one) but they lacked something compared to their first three albums. Videos like this showcase what it was that was missing.

... and BTW, whoever is responsible for the miking/mixing, not compressing the hell out it, and the recording in general (the sonics) is a genius. Excellent work; this rivals some recordings made in studios these days. Besides the talent (in this case Dino Jr; outstanding), capturing the music faithfully is what it’s all about and you guys did it in spades. Thanks again, I feel like I should pay somebody because my views alone make up about 1/3 of your total : ). Cheers my brothers and sisters.

Alot of trios have the problem of the music “dropping out” when the guitarist solos, but NEVER these guys with the original lineup. Lou knows when to play chords on the bass and it along with J’s distortion are pivotal

Alex Millar Gotta protect the ears, man. You only get a pair for the rest of your life. I'm glad clubs are taking steps to limit excessive noise... Now, don't get me wrong! I love loud noise. But too much of it, yeah, it will eventually destroy those ear drums, and flatten the tiny hairs in the ear canal. People say "if it's too loud, then you're too old" But it's true! I have the volumes blasted on everything, because I'm too old!
