@@Sebastian-xi5rr I doubt it will. Dinosaurs aren’t like other reptiles, they couldn’t grow lost limbs. And the crest isn’t made of feathers so it’s unlikely he grew a new one

Sad thing about this is it really was unfair fight, the smaller male was probably a youngster and in time may have grown to be a worthy challenger. Now he would never get that chance, as without his crest it doesn't matter how big and strong her gets, he'll never mate.

@@flightlesslord2688 the color blue is a very difficult pigment for animals to detect, let alone see. Very few animals other than humans can perceive that color. Chances are likely that the blue coloration of that male would not have made a difference when hunting

@@jaisanatanrashtra7035 Actually the climate cryolophosaurus lived in was temperate , so it wasn't that cold. Altough as a basal tetanuran i think it should be feathered. At least this design has filaments on it's tail.

I wish this was a bit more realistic ngl, the designs would be perfect for a real-life portrayal! What's weird is it's not even the weird cartoony chase that bothers me the most. I don't believe he would've challenged a male for a mate that's already his, nor would the female stand by and let them deck it out when she has eggs to protect. Both of them would've seen him as a threat lol

God, the anthropomorphic style made this painful to watch. You could just see the pain in the female’s eyes as her unborn babies were killed, didnt need eyelids or lips you could still see it. And the final look she gave to her mate before leaving like a last goodbye just makes this worst.
