I'm going through my old tapes and thought I share this one again in better quality. Originally 720x480 DV cassette but I dumped the AVI file direct from my camera which is dying from old age to a much better "older" computer and blew it up to 4K so KZfaq's compression doesn't really do much to the base file.
This was in St. Louis at the UMB Bank Pavilion aka Riverport. It had to have been the summer of 2002 when I was the electrician and had more freedom to hang out in the rafters and spot pods. Thanks to being 23 years old and South Park I learned about Dio and it was kind of a joke at the time (to me) but I've since gained so much respect for the band and it's members partly that day when I met his bus driver who asked me to try and fix their A/C unit on the bus. I could not being at an that age where HVAC really didn't made sense yet, but he gave me a beer (Rolling Rock) and some "after show VIP meet the band" passes (which I couldn't use since I was working all day) which he just didn't have to do...He told me stories and was honestly glad I at least took a look at the A/C. So in that 30 minutes I learned to maybe slow down a bit and listen to these bands that weren't everywhere anymore. I'll never forget this day.
