My dear friends living a simple and humble life with God we will be able to to obtain His goodness and grace that will allow us to live a happy and contented life. Like Christ if we want to become children of God and a true Christian we need to be baptized twice first with water to remove the original sin once and if we fail or sin due to imperfection then we will go to confession where the priest will do absolution of our sin and doing penance with full repentance we canbe forgiven and cleanse and receiving the Holy Eucharist we can be resurrected and be united with Him again for our God is a God of mercy and compassion and His love for us is infinite.

Thank you Bishop Ambo David fòr thìs homily on immersion. Immersion is something where we expose ourselves to the life of a community where we need to get oriented tò the life and culture and the practices of the people in the community the way they lived and survived. Knowing their basic way of life will enable us to understand how they live in which we ourselves will be able to discover how they survived. We were able to do immersion in the interior or the hinterlands were we brought our skills and others the new technology on the use of computers, teaching them simple bookeeping, and on the HRM side we taught them Types of Table setting, culinary Arts and Baking and Food processing using indigenous products found in the locality. With it we first introduce the theory and followed by practicum where we let them experience doing it practically after our actual demonstration on the skills we shared to them. Going in hinterlands is quite dangerous and tiresome for the way up there if you look both sides of the road i trembled for the road was so narrow that if the driver is not skillful we will fall. I only closed my eyes but the next time we went there we were already laughing tour might for some of our companoons were telling us amusing stories. After the period of immersion is a success story because even if we shared a little of our knowledge and skills getting involved and sharing with them is a lovely memory. There in the mountains you will not go hungry for everyone shared all the food they cooked in different ways. So going up there we brought something or anything we can also share. That's immersion that knowing and interacting with them will help us understand their way of life and we will be able to establish a better relationship with them in a friendly manner. This is also when we embrace our faith with God knowing His ways we will be able to follow Him through His Son Jesus and by be being obedient with all His teachings we will be able to deepen our relationship with God that will make our faith much stronger that will allow us to change for the better way of life. Our baptism through the water and the Holy Spirit will cleanse us and renew our life from being sinful we cam be resurrected and we can become a child of God and an heir to eternal life.
