Definitely Galaxy S23 for me. I think the design looks a little better despite the glossy edges. I'd use a case on it anyway, though, so it doesn't matter!

I went for the S23. Snapdragon was one reason. Display is good and I don't have scratches after several months. I miss the edge screen, but I also have a case which prevents easy access to the screen edges, but helps protect the screen. I only upgraded from my S10 to improve battery life and camera quality.

@@alejandrouranga7205 Spigen Galaxy S23 5G Liquid Crystal Case - Crystal Clear. It's perfect for me, except difficult to swipe from the very edge of the screen. Mainly a problem for the side bar (multi-window selection) rather than the notification bar. Great fit and the buttons are much easier to press than with my S10 Spigen case.

It comes down to the processor, as the other upgrades are minimal and doesn't justify the price difference. SD is better than Exynos in most situations, including battery life, heat management, and long term performance.

@@kofidave2512 No the best thing about S23 is that it has Snapdragon 8 gen 2 for every version in every region, there is no Exynos S23, and for someone like me who lives in Europe I would much rather buy last years S23 because of that as the new S24 has the Exynos here and the S23 is cheaper depending where, I can get it for 50 euro cheaper than S24 maybe even more with a deal, I will probably buy the S23 in October.

I got a s23 (barely used) got a s24 brandnew in the box (since the release date) using my s9 as daily driver and s20 plus as workphone. I'm gonna sell the s24 because of the new rumours that the s25 line all gonna be snapdragon again 🎉

Here in Colombia, the S23 costs the same has the S24+, which is stupid. But it is what it is, also, is the Exynos version for all of them, except the Ultras. So, I will have to import mine, lol

@@carlosgrey37 still using my samsung A8 (2018), bought used in mid 2019. only upgrading due to 3g getting switched off in UK. storage is a issue (32gb, have micro sd card although doesn't allow a lot of apps to be installed). Looking at S24, then aim to keep for 7 years or more. 😊

With your experience which is worth to buy? (My whole point is getting a phone for next 5,6 years with no lagging issues and any heating issues ) And also if it is worth SD gen 2 over EXYNOS 2400 beacuse i couldn't find any SD version of S24 in my country. Although im plannig to buy one in next week so i literally suck between two of these. And i really need your help.

I already have a 23 ultra. It's crazy how it's literally the same phone for the last 10 years and probably won't change much. I even got the fold for and was super disappointed and went to the 23 ultra. I really want a fold, but they need to make the outer screen almost as big as this one.

If you intend to keep the phone for lets say 3-4 years $200 difference is like $50 a year: I'd definitely go for the better, slightly more expensive model - same applies for iPhones, Pixels, etc... just my 2 cents

@we1314 i can help you find a good option, I did too much research finding the phone I wanted, want a dirt cheap phone that is good, a15, good performance and price, a35, almost flagship quality except performance, a55, flagship quality with some specs limited, s23 fe or the s24 fe if it comes and is good, and the best of the best, a s24 ultra, or a base s24.

Lemme fix that, a series skippable since animations differ from S series system, A55 has longest battery life out of all tho. S20 FE took out the real flagships, S21FE was a great option that took away attention from flagships too, so S23 fe sucks. S24 has exynos in it most likely, so skippable, S24 Ultra is the only one with increase in protection and a good SoC and even better cameras. So base S24 makes 0 sense, unless you want the new wallpaper AoD. S23 makes way more sense if you are in an Exynos region. Just like S21 fe and S20 fe made sense with snapdragon chips.@@MaskedPresence

i had the s8 exynos then the s20 exynos. now i have the s23 as of today. i do miss the curved edge. the s23 pictures looks a bit sharpened compared to the s20. it will take me some time to get accustom to it

i’m probably going to get the S24 just for the extra longevity and for the smaller quality of life upgrades. and also cause on the samsung website i’m able to get $200 value for my iphone 12 for a trade in and an extra 5% off with the education promo or whatever it’s called, so i’d pay around $570 i think for an S24

The change is very small..this guy is using a black variant on s23 which is merging with the bezels unlike the s24 which is silvery..

i chose s23+ over s24, i think i made the right decision. s23 was out of stock so i had to choose between s23+ or s24. they both were at the same price but samsung has a promo which you will be given a free smartwatch when buying a s24. i was about to leaning into s24 then i realized the chipset is an exynos instead of snapdragon on s23 series😅

You can't rely on Exynos for, say more than 2-3 years??? Would samsung expect people not changing their phone after 5 years or so? I don't think.. Exynos with 7 yrs is not a good style of marketing from Saanung's end I guess..

For those that are lost… thinking they look almost the same. Remind you something, one has exyno vs SD (snapdragon) totally different. Snapdragon 8 3th is one of the most powerful chip in the market for gaming and heat problem. Specially for the long run. Go for the s24 you’ll thank me later

Just when you think you can get rid of the Apple iPhone they pull you back in if you're already a customer, if not I'm considering one, because you can go up to 30 feet for 1/2 hour in any kind of liquid including the beach versus 5 feet for Samsung, may not be something to consider for some, but I would think most after you drop it in the deep end of most pools for example, would wanna go with apple just a thought....

Dude S24 Ultra comes with SD chip internationally. S24 and S24 Plus are available with SD only in USA and Canada. In S23 series ALL models were SD internationally.
