There is always room for Dior. 😉 I don’t buy everything or even close to everything, but I did buy the bronze collection and some of the poppy coral. I will add that I always wear warm tones despite what is trendy. They make me happy and feel my best.

First things first…love the new intro! You really did a great job of capturing what your channel is about. 💄 Even though I’ve been bored with makeup lately, I ordered this palette. I don’t have very many warm tones in my collection because I’ve always been a proud member of the Cool Toned Army. I booked a session with a stylist recently (really fascinating process) and she confirmed what I suspected…I shouldn’t wear cool tones. They wash me out. I am officially resigning my post and defecting to the other side. 😢 I’ll let you know how my warm toned journey goes! And you looked beautiful…not cats in a field with cut grass at all!

Oh, this palette is very, very pretty! Yes, it is really warm, but I do not mind! I will not buy it as the six month shelf life is insane and annoying! Hearing you say some people have had issues with their Dior palettes after six months is infuriating! The lip oil and blush are very pretty!! You looked so pretty-these warm shades were perfect on you!❤ Oh and today June 1st, my six month makeup and nail polish no buy ends! Your new succinct bio intro is so good! I am also light medium neutral and I def can pull off warm tones, but I have blue eyes and they do make them pop if the tones are more towards the orange side and not towards the Barbie pink side. You look great in this! but iI personally would only do the eyeshadow and not the entire look in these tones.

I can't do any of these palettes - blonde/blue with fair Neutral/Cool skin tones. These make me break out in hotflashes, lol! They make a better autumn choice than summer IMHO - although some people want to look hot ha ha!

The only product I was interested in was the lip maximixer but I got the darkest color of the new FENTY and it’s been glued to my lips, I love it, they seem like similar colors. You did a really nice job on this look though! I got the Poppy Coral and love that one, the bronze would be too dark for my pasty white complexion.

I have a Dior single. I bought it in July 2022. I thought this was before the whole 6 month nonsense. I just checked it and it has the 6 month stamp on the back. It still performs like it always did. LOL! I LOVE your eye look. It isn't too warm. I have no plans to pick up this palette.

Hi Rebecca! I think this look is beautiful on you! The eyeshadow really makes the blue/green in your eyes stand out. For me with my light/neutral skin tone, I’m not so sure about this color story. I’m anxiously waiting for Natasha Denona’s golden palette because the golden/smoldering look may be a better fit for me for the summer. I recently purchased the Tom Ford Soleil eye quad and love the lighter, understated elegance of the look. While the warm essentials look and lip maximizer looks beautiful on you, my fear is it will be too heavy/dark for me. Thanks so much for yet another awesome video! I love this look on you! All looks great. I’m a warm/neutralish skin tone, and can wear both warm and cool colors, depending on what I am wearing. I’m sure you can as well. I’m most interested in the blush and lip maximizer. I already have ND Bronze palette so I’m covered with the warm eyeshadows.

Hi Rebecca, I don’t think it’s too warm. I think it’s perfect for summer and fall. However, when I saw this, I thought we’ve all seen this color story a ton of times already. Also, in regards to your swatch comparisons, I think the Coral palette is very similar to this one. Nonetheless, this looks great on you! 😊

The palette looks beautiful on you! If I was going to buy one... i would go with warm neutrals or smoky essentials. If they were drugstore... maybe I would purchase all 3 😊 -- but if I buy... it would be something more "neutral" --- I always buy neutral complexion products... but I definitely lean more cool with lips and eyes... I probably am a bit cool toned but prefer the look of a neutral complexion if that makes sense.

Great video again. Warm looks great on you. I love warm colours nd yucca, coral neutrals, viseart fleurette bisou or dark edit, abh rose metals and various Charlotte tilbury palettes are ones I reach for regularly. I find these colours make my eyes pop. I think the trick to not look like you have hayfever eyes is a black or brown smudged eyeliner and for me I never put those colours under the eye. I’m going to stick with my existing palettes but if I was looking for warm I’d go for this because I like the stronger colours of this palette.

I love Dior - truly love it! But not crazy about the (supposed) 6 month expiration label... hmmm. I must say though that my Forever Matte 2.5N foundation is starting to oxidize when I wear it! Maybe the hot weather, maybe it is indeed a 6 month thing? Orange is NOT my favorite color for A LOT of reasons, lol, but especially not on my face!

Hello Becca! It’s interesting you should say that because that’s basically along the lines that I was thinking. Nothing is bad isolated but when you put an entire look together that is 100% super warm it gets to be over the top too quickly.

You did your usual fab job with these but all those are way too warm for me. If I wanted to experiment I’d buy one of those Too Faced pumpkin, maple or whatever they are, or even Colourpop. If they bring back the Silver Essential however I will buy it immediately.

Oh this looks fantastic on you!! I know the cool tone army is not feeling this one but it is quite lovely! It is rich and punchy without being over the top. I love these Dior Backstage shadows AND miss the primer!!! Why replace it with that same shadow in all the palettes, lame. If they are not going to include the primer, why not add a shade that really adds to the palette cohesion. Maybe I missed it but is this a Dior exclusive because I did not see it Sephora or Ulta.

I believe right now it is indeed a Dior exclusive but it’s newly offered there so my guess is it will soon come to other retailers. The cool tone Revolution Army most certainly disapproves of this product though. Ha ha.

I’m more so a Warm pallet person and this eye palette would be fine for me….If I didn’t already own several other of the previous Dior palettes. Examples… Dior Backstage 001 Warm Neutrals, Backstage 003 Amber Neutrals, and 007 Coral Neutrals. I also have several of the Quints with those shades. Examples 629 Coral Paisley, 479 Bayadere, 689 Mitzah, and others. The shades in this new palette can be easily duplicated with the palettes listed above and if you already own them, there really isn’t a need for the new one. All that being said, If you are a warm toned person and don’t own other Dior palettes in these tones, this new palette could be a Welcome addition. The blush, well after you saying that the blend was a bit difficult, personally I would pass on it. I preferred the old formula and am not a fan of this “clean” formula trend at all. Rebecca, the original Backstage Eye Palettes are as follows: 001 Universal Neutrals (aka Custom Palette) 001 Warm Neutrals 002 Cool Neutrals 003 Amber Neutrals (still available at Sephora Australia) 004 Rosewood Neutrals Now, when these were all culled with Dior's reformulations, they didn't bring back the beautiful original colour stories, nor the lovely eye primer, but went for these rather stark and very warm leaning palettes instead. What we have so far that's new: 001 Nude Essentials (replacing 'who knows'?) 002 Smokey Essentials (replacing Cool Neutrals) 003 Warm Essentials (replacing Warm Neutrals) Coral Neutrals came out as a Limited Edition and is not part of the regular line. So, next to be replaced (Rosewood Neutrals) will most likely be another similar palette to the ones you held up. Why, oh why, did Dior feel the need to change colour stories from the regular line that are now quite stark and very warm leaning and similar to each other. On another Channel, someone had used the orginal 002 Cool Neutrals in the video. Another commented underneath - "is that a new Palette?" Then went on to say how much she loved Smokey Essentials. I broke the news to her that it was her Smokey Essentials that killed off Cool Neutrals. Have I got you confused yet? There is one more to come, yet whether Dior decide to extend this line for the sake of greed, is anyone's guess. Honestly, the originals were much nicer and quite varied in their colour stories and never appeared remotely the same. If anyone can get their hands on these, go for it! The only Palette I've liked from the reformulations is Smokey Essentials. I had collected every single Backstage Eye Palette that has ever been released, yet when I saw the first replacement, I didn't like it much at all and didn't represent either the Cool or Universal Neutrals. Although, I have bought Smokey Essentials, I still haven't got Nude Essentials and won't be in a rush to buy this one, Warm Essentials either. I just feel that not much thought has been put into these and I don't care to collect them anymore. It seems that they're just throwing together existing shades and then labelling them as the replacement. When one owns as many as I do, there comes a time to put the brakes on, especially when not liking what I see. Dior has really lost many customers due to their reformulation program in many products, including myself. How a brand that is owned by the richest man on earth can get everything so wrong, clearly doesn't care about what the customer wants. I hardly buy anything from Dior now. Only the Addict Lipsticks and Cases. I've got enough Maximisers and simply don't like the lack of quality and pigmentation that has been lost from the L/E Quints. If they're not going to listen to me, then I won't be filling their greedy coffers! I can get much better quality from brands much cheaper than Dior. 🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨 (PS. Did you see the Lethal Cosmetics new release? Money better spent with products I know will never let me down).

These reformulations are a letdown on so many levels. I agree with you. I don’t know if they did it just as a money grab or if they truly felt they needed to do this. I have a feeling it’s the former and that makes me sad

With the massive financial resources Dior has at its fingertips, there is no reason why they couldn't have reformulated whilst keeping the quality and the old shades from the Backstage Eye Palettes Range. They kept the Backstage Face Quads exactly the same, so why make the Eye Palettes uglier? Only one grabbed my attention and that was Smoky Essentials. The orginal colour stories were very popular and very much in demand. I haven't even bought a Quint since the reformulation. They have lost pigmentation and the colour stories just put one to sleep. Not at all happy with Dior, yet at least it saves me money!💖

How does the Dior lip gloss compare to Haus Labs Atomic lippy (my ride-or-die formula) in terms of comfort and longevity?

Such a good question but the products are very very different. The atomic has to be shaken up as you know and applies in a very pigmented form. It’s beautiful but can be fussy, as I’m sure you know. This Dior is a much simpler just kind of regular every day gloss with a little bit of color to it. So very different animals so to speak

This collection is a pass for me. It’s too warm for me. I do think it looks pretty on you. I used to use the little primer that came in the palette. I found it convenient. The most appealing item for me is the lip product. But, I can’t rationalize it.😢. 😊❤

I thought the intro was good. I don't think those colors would be too warm for me, but I do think they seem too saturated for me to be able to use easily on my low-contrast complexion and so I will be skipping them. Probably a professional makeup artist wouldn't have problems with them, of course. They do look nice on you!
