Something does not convince me about Maria Grazia Chiuri.The fabrics, the tailoring, the colours are good, very good & garments are as well. It is her creativity that does not develop/improve and every show is a deja vu of the previous one.her style is not a reflexion of Dior brand/luxury/concept. Hard to explain.Still a good show commercially.

She is not up to the Task at Dior. None of her collections. Christian Dior is glamorous and she lacks glamour. It can be modern and comfortable but there’s also tradition at CD. All due respect. There is no beauty as it always was before her.

Sorry, but this show was nowhere near the great Collections that have been recently put together. A number of garments looked as if they had been thrown together using the leftover handmade lace from collections past and outfits that you'd be arrested for wearing in public due to indecent exposure! This is supposed to represent Spring-Summer, yet no colour to be seen, yet plenty of Winter like coats! Some of the pieces were quite beautiful, yet after viewing it all, it was nothing but a big let down from past shows and those from other Design Houses who understood wearable, stlyish fashion much better. Maria, you dropped the ball with this one.🇦🇺👩🏼‍🎨

Exactly 20 years ago he did that amazing show with an entire soundtrack of female rock n’ roll legends - Suzi Quattro, Patti Smith, Marianne Faithful et al... and all the models looked formidable. The feminist vibe was off the charts and they didn’t have to depend on slogans.

I appreciate the loud emphasis on Feminism, but there has to be a way to put the focus on fashion during a fashion show. Color on the models and neutral walls? Women are not neutral or invisible.

14:38 This tie-dye coat is gorgeous! 16:16 The top is so intricate. 16:49 I love how the bag complimented the skirt. 17:02 I love how they made the top see through in a one-shoulder sleeve top. 18:11 Such a pretty coat again! 18:23 This is such a cute and cool combo outfit. 18:39 So unique cut-outs! 20:02 I love how the illusion of this overall outfit looks like an ombre effect. 20:42 The coat is so cool. 21:01 Another gorgeous coat! 22:42 Long live this coat! 24:53 Last collection remnants 24:59 This dress is so gorgeous! Dior on its one-shoulder sleeves and tie-dye era but still got their floral lace detail signature. I love how they really invested in having a detailed back drop on LEDs.

I can't say I always love her designs but when she hits for me, it's subtle researched and techniques driven genius and what's not to my taste is that only... it's no less brilliant on the level of design and construction. I can appreciate it without being thrilled about it. I found the fluo runway and backdrop screwed up my colour vision and made it difficult to see the clothes, but... I am sensitive to it. She's definitely at the top of the fashion world right now. And it's sellable (without feeling commercial) to a wide range of tastes and speaks to what I think many women want in a luxury brand. Her Ukrainian textile and pattern inspired collection was by far my recent favorite, but this one has some great stuff... close second?

Finally a forward direction rather than past seasons that each seemed to be derived from the previous one. This is still signature, but with a more modern, youthful edge, reminiscent of Chiuri's debut collection in 2016, which is still my favorite.
