Definitely MUST see a video of it driving down the road to hear how much it rattles before I would even considering buying one. No radio on, windows up, just a little talking for a second or 2 every minute to judge sound level on everyday driving. You can always turn the radio up, buy Mud Grapplers, or straight pipe your exhaust to cover up annoying sounds, but then you can't drive around chatting with someone without listening to it.

Finally a video lol I agree do a road test very curious on how they sound im interested in getting one. I like that it is aluminum and if you wanted to add accessories like brake controller and phone holder and stream light you can put them wherever. Then wondering if getting the dash mat would make it look a little better and maybe quieter? I really like them matte black is really sweet

I’ve been curious about these things and always wanted to see somebody put one in so I appreciate this video. It’s not for me personally, mostly because of the price, but it doesn’t look bad at all really. For me to think about this, it’d probably have to actually be cheaper than a regular dash replacement. I understand why they’re expensive tho, I’m sure it was a ton of work and R&D to make them.

Now I’d like to see you buy & install one of the full plastic replacement dashes that that one guy is making so you can compare the two options. I think they’re actually cheaper than these aluminum ones are and supposedly they’re made with better quality plastic than the oem stuff was so they should be stronger and last longer. Personally that’s probly the route I’ll go if/when the need arises but these are a cool option too.

Naaa. Its cool but its not $1600-$1900 cool. You could buy a lot of dash top replacements for what you spent on that. Its a cool concept. Im sure they have w lot of R&D on it and the price reflects that. If they could get the cost down to $400-$500 then im sure they would sell a bunch!
