I never thought I would see someone do the first day version :D Personally, I think the emotion and atmosphere of day 2 fits the song better but overall I just love day 1 that tiny bit more so I really appreciate this and it seems like a nice theme with the channel to always go for the underdog live 😁 Kyo uses a red cord for years now. It's often used as 'requisit' to symbolize a whole bunch of things (noose, guts/intestines, the red threat of fate, timelines in general, baby etc). Best, recent example would be The World of Mercy.

😂 sorry, I just re-read that and 'baby' seems like a weird addition to that collection - but you know he can cradle it like one in his arms. I hope it makes more sense now.

Although the other performance mentioned in the comments is definitely the more memorable and emotional one, this is a perfectly fine, very true-to-the-studio-version rendition of Tousei. Cool to see new fans checking out all sorts of stuff from their ridiculous catalog.

i would very much love to see “Zakuro” and “Mushi” live from the 2003 5 DAYS BLITZ , a very very emotionally heavy performance from Kyo

If you want to see the wildest demonstration of Kyo's highs you gotta react to their song Magayasou live. Some serious King Diamond vibes in that song if you're familiar with him. It's another really weird and atmospheric performance of theirs and you essentially spend the whole song wondering where he's gonna go next with it because it's so dynamic.

Great reaction and thanks for pointing out the other band members and of course Kyo gets all the attention as the lead vocalist but man the guitars and bass with the drums were a killer here and on full display.

I know a lot of people prefer the Day 2 version, but personally I have always liked the Day 1 performance. Not that Day 2's is bad, but I feel that the more restrained tone he chose on Day 1 fit the song's atmosphere. Everyone seems to suggest Day 2 because Kyo got very worked up (maybe he was feeling a little more emotional than usual), but that rawness doesn't suite this type of ballad in my opinion. Kyo usually is restrained in a similar way when he sings Hotarubi, or Jealous -Reverse-, for example. No less impactful. The tone from Day 2 is better used for songs like Zakuro or Mushi (HIGHLY suggest those songs). It may also be suggested more because that version has subtitles, while the one in this video does not. Also, I do feel the focus on this performance focuses more on the band as a whole. Kyo might be my favorite member, but that doesn't mean I don't want to see what all the other guys are doing too! Either way, thank you for the reaction

Edit: just realized that the amazing subbed vid from PeriXreloaded from day 2 is taken off KZfaq!!! Oh no!!!! Thank god I own the Bluray. Oh wow, that was unexpected! The 2nd day version is so much more emotional. This is also great, don't get me wrong, but do a side by side comparison and hear those gut wrenching screams of day two. It's so intense.
