When you’re in the middle of a sleeper bridge (meaning you completed the first part but not the second part) your ELD might have a toggle button that allows you to switch back and forth between what your hours are with and without the sleeper bridge. When I’m looking at the four different clocks on my ELD that toggle button is right below them. Also my ELD will show that I’m in violation during a sleeper bridge but it has a note saying the violation will clear upon completion of the second part of the bridge. The simplest way I can think of to explain the sleeper bridge is you have the short part and the long part. You can do them in either order. The first part pauses your 14. The second part pauses AND gives you back the hours you used before the first part on your 11 and 14. I’d also take screenshots of your ELD throughout the various stages of the bridge to figure out exactly what’s going on. It’s a very useful option.

I was surprised that the City or code enforcement didn't reach to you sooner by parking on the street since the semi trailer was parked there but I did not mention it on comments as I know these haters are within. The inspector told me about a garage I had with no permit that the only reason they will come is if someone puts the complain, if they see it, they wont bother you but if other neighbors were warned, it means the complain came from someone in this channel. I work with people that will envy you if you got anything going for you. Sergei Dratchev a Russian Heavy Haul worked for Landstar and a follower hater contacted his carrier and said that he was dangerous because he stopped on the side of the highway and adjusted his camera. From there he had to cover the logo of the new company. Just got to be careful what you disclose here but we know how you Robert and Lita do it, you will throw it back at them with winning and lots of loads while that hater just like some of my coworkers will remain miserable and probably broke,

When you split your sleeper birth. The only driving time you have is the driving time that you had left when you stopped driving for the day. So if you stop for 8hrs in the sleeper you can drive the driving time that you had left from the night before. Then stay off duty for 2hrs and you get the rest of your driving time back. Because at that point you have been off duty for 10hrs.

I bought some LED strip lights, 4 strips about 12" long that you can connect together and have an adhesive backing. Put them up under the shelf above my table and it's awesome. You can change the color and brightness as well as some flashing/cycling routines. Works off a little credit card sized remote. I use the dim red for night time or bright white for when I'm working or cooking. The ceiling light in a tall double bunk sleeper doesn't much reach the bottom bunk, but my strip lights do a good job under there also.

Why not try contacting your local city councilman and explain that your a small business man and would appreciate any possible solutions for your parking problem,maybe get some neighbors involved as this issue seems to involve them also.It isn't like your parking on the street daily maybe a 48 or 72 hr temp parking area could get approved

I just went through that trans fault on my 23 t680. it's a big problem with kw. have the right hand shift stalk checked out. Had to replace mine. $700 for the. part plus $700 core. Don't let that thing go too long, the transmission will eventually fault out and leave you hanging.

Great video………im a company driver, my previous T680 kept throwing a transmission fault, come to find out it was a faulty shifter stalk. This world is so full of ass wipes that have nothing better to do, than to cause problems for others. Because they’re miserable themselves…..

Robert if there’s a mechanic you take your equipment to regularly talk to them, tell them you’re a loyal customer and will continue to be a loyal customer regardless but you could really use a place to store the trailer when you’re home, even if it’s off in the dirt somewhere. Some place where it would be out of the way.

Hello Lita and Robert. Now I guess you let us know that you moved to a "new" house and just don't show it. The Zoners should have to install No Parking signs in the neighborhood, otherwise you park there. That was an easier unload than load on the vehicles. It would be great if they could all be that way. I am curious to know how you know it is someone that views your videos that reported your violation? While I am not your dad, I am old enough to be. A little advice, if you don't like the laws in your town that prohibit a freedom you believe you are entitled to, like where you park your semi, then do something to get them changed. Keep in mind though that in the U.S., freedoms are created by the majority. It is not all about what a minority of people want. We have to live together and sometimes that means accepting things that don't fit in with what makes our life easier. Better than Russia, China, North Korea, and many other countries in this world. Nothing wrong with a scooter... I commuted for a couple of years on a 150cc scooter during grad school.....in my 40s. Which saved me a bunch on gas, parking fees, and vehicle insurance. Simply parked my car non-op until I left campus.

I have a 2016 579 that unfortunately has an Eaton Advantage auto and mine used to have intermittent errors etc. Mine did that for a long time and eventually it needed a clutch and a bunch of sensors and other electronic controls which cost me 18K. Eventually your weird transmission will reveal itself. All APU's are POS. You'll see. Take care

Jealousy is a terrible thing. I admit it did not look like a great place to park. But it sounded like it was not a thru street with lots of traffic. If neighbors didn’t care, why should anyone else? Heck if neighbor did that, I might try to buy some eggs.

i was driving a 1980 pete cabover hauling a empty linseed oil tanker in mn back in 1990 half mile from company.intersection out of left eye i saw a black car coming fast.it took my tandems out from trailer their black left mirror hit my left mirror i thought i killed them.thursday morning at 10 am it happened dot had me in ditch doing breathalizers ect it was crazy!.luckily i diddnt do wrong people saw my black smoke rolling it saved me in court that 400 cummins was floored!. witnesses that where walking into a bank saved me in court cause of black smoke rolling tying to beat them through intersection.young couple thought they where still on major highway throughfare.dangt bad day that day.they tore the tandems out from trailer it separated the trailer tandems from tanker.my left knee hit hard hard on dash is all i remember about me in that incident.to this day i can still see looking out left mirror and seeing a small black mirror flying towards my cab hit right in trucks left mirror

If you're at a shipper or receiver for five six hours or you only drove 4 or 5 hours that day and still have 6 to 7 hours left on your clock then you could use split sleeper.. It seems like you're driving style is to run out your clock as much as possible so split sleeper will never work for you because you don't have anything left over or you didn't waste anything at a shipper or receiver you drove 10 hours that day .. Picture your driving hours like arcade tokens You bought $11 worth But you only used $5 worth Well if you go back to the arcade 7 to 8 hours later you can get a refund for the tokens that you didn't use..

Over here in Indiana you have to have a license to drive a scooter anymore. Nowadays if you drop your kid they put you in jail.
