Thanks for the great video! I actually own this printer. If I have the artwork, I can have a finished product in less than 10 minutes. In addition to printing a single design on t-shirts and canvas bags, here are some of the things that I have made: full color photographs on gift bags, custom printed face masks, t-shirts with multiple prints on the front and back, mixed media (print and HTV) designs on garments, bags and pillow cases. Basically, if you can get it to lay flat and it is a cotton fabric, you are good to go!

Hi I was wondering if you could do a video showing what different colors look like printed with this DTG like gold, for example! Also curious as to how many prints you can get with the ink cartridges? I would definitely like to see more videos on this machine also when doing a shirt do you just lay on top of does the front and back have to be separated to keep the ink from bleeding through to the back of the shirt?

Wow! D2G has come a long way. Back when my son had a T-shirt company (10 years ago) the Anajet was $20K+ and you needed to buy the heat press too. And if you didn't use it at least once a week, the ink would gum up the lines and cause a need for lots of maintenance. $3500 is a steal compared to what it used to be.

What software are you referring to? Silhouette Studio? If so, yes. If you mean the Roland DTG software - that is also MAC compatible.

Also, can you do a double sided tote bag as in can you flip and do another design on the other side without ruining your 1st design?

I recommend doing a test item first to make sure it turns out the way you'd like it to.

Great video. This is very helpful. I need all of these printers so my small business can do it all. I guess I will have to get each machine one at a time. How long do these machines last before having to buy new ones?

Hi there! Unfortunately there is SO much variation on that question, I can't give you a definitive answer. It really depends on how heavily you use it and the kind of maintenance you perform.

Hi there! You would need to export as a PNG from Silhouette Studio to use in the Roland software. You can do this if you have Business Edition of Silhouette Studio.

So sublimation polyester - DTG has to have a high content of cotton. So, no high count of polyester print in this?

How expensive is the replacement inks?

vanburen2676 I hope this helps. The ink is $ 77 dollars each for the three (CMY) colored inks and $100 dollars for the black. There is also a waste tank that I believe is less than $25 dollars. The average cost to print a garment has been around 0.40 cents.

No, but perhaps better to post the question on the fb page 'how to silhouette', add the version you are using and windows/mac. There are some different options depending on that as well.

@@ingeh6135 I did and many are having the same issue. Especially after the 4. something upgrade. I've been back and forth with customer service which sucks that you can only email and wait days before they get back to you for the past 3months. Thanks for responding. Yes😞and on top of that cut settings stuck on htv last night. I haven't cut htv for a few week's!!!!
