Demon line - HongJoong, Seonghwa, and San and it is because of the duality of their personalities and facial expressions on and off stage and how they really get in to character with each song

Black Cat Nero was originally an Italian childrens song in the late 1960s, Turbo was a 1st generation group who were big in the 90s and they did a dance version of it then, Kim Jongkook from Turbo has done other collabs with Ateez (4th gen) in the past so his appearance here has more meaning when you realise it was his song before Ateez did this with it. They did a stage version of it on Immortal Songs when he was on the show as well, but I don't remember if this came after Immortal Songs or before it

Kim Jong-kook is a soloist with one heck of a career. He started as a Gen 1 idol in the duo Turbo in 1995. Turbo disbanded in 2000. His solo career started from there. He is well known for his beast-like body and the voice of an angel. He is also well known as an entertainer through shows like X-Men, Family Outing, and Running Man. Running Man boosted his popularity internationally a lot.

San is like a completely different person on stage. He dances so hard, he breaks headsets.

My favorite thing to do when it comes to this song is explain how it's originally a childrens song. Turbo covered it and then ATEEZ. The original is an Italian(if I don't remember wrong) childrens song called "Volevo Un Gatto Nero". Showing someone this version and then say "oh, btw this is a childrens song" is really funny. *Edit: correction*

I loved the original but when this came out - well Ateez are the masters of performance. This is so much fun, strong choreo great facial expressions and the fact that the original artist joined them at the end. Classic!

Basically Turbo did this song, Ateez covered it on a show- and Kim Jong Kook the singer of turbo allowed them to remake it and also appeared in it. The guy also never ages lol

The “demon line” is called that because if you watch, their movements and facial expressions are almost demonic at times. The guy that is with them is one of the original singers of this song. This is a remake song from the group Turbo. The song is considered an eternal song. ATEEZ won when they performed this song. That gives them the rights to perform and record the song.

Petition to add Yeosang to the Demon line is being passed around. It’s something we fans came up with because of their presence and facial expressions on live stages. It’s not like an official kpop thing 😂 Kim Jongkook is a 1st generation idol from the (disbanded) group Turbo. The Black Cat Nero is originally an Italian children’s song. Turbo turned it into a big hit. ATEEZ took it further with this rendition on the show Immortal Songs by adding the more rock/metal feel to it. Immortal Songs is a show where no lip syncing is allowed. Live mics only. Black Cat Nero earned ATEEZ their first win on Immortal Songs. They were also the first 4th generation idol group to win on the show. ATEEZ would go on to perform on Immortal Song 4 more times, taking home 3 more wins. ATEEZ have collaborated with Kim Jongkook (KJK) several times over the years. They released a mini album titled ‘Seasons Songs’ together. The title track is called Be My Lover. To really appreciate this cover you should listen to the original song by Turbo. The Turbo lead singer Kim Jongkook is also in the video. He is the one who comes out of the grave. Also a fun fact-due to time constraints the choreography was pulled together in just a few hours. They borrowed moves from some of their other choreographies and then used the original Turbo choreo for the chorus.
